I work for a crash shop and insurance companys are killers they will tell us one thing then suck up the customers ass. They are hard to deal with, they cut costs and repair times and if its been damaged befor they want nothing to do with it. Comes down to the insuarnce company and it frustrates me i spend half my time fixing and painting things for free beacuse i dont like the way they work. they wanna save costs. And dont care about the owner of the cars. And then on top of that when we have played cat and mouse with the insurance company and have done what is cost effective. And then on the other side have customers that think they know that they are looking at or get there plumber mate to have a look over there repairs or mechanic or what ever and they think they can pick fault. And no joke i have had some one say that to me there plumber mate looked over the car. body repairs should only be commented on by a trades men.
