No Power To Stereo And Dash Clock Blank

As the topic says ...

everything was working fine until this arvo i noticed my stereo had no power and the dashboard clock was blank. it still had the backing light but not time..

anyone know how what my issue might be?

I would suggest you check your fuses. Could be totally off but its a start.

+1 check your fuses. If they're blow then ding ding ding you've found the cause

Another +1 for fuses, the radio and clock are commonly connected to the same fuse.

So if the fuses keep blowing then obviously theres a short circuit somewhere, but where would it be?

Best bet is to unplug your radio, clock & ciggy lighter

then try a new fuse, if it pops youve probably got wireing issues

if not plug stuff back in till the fuse pops & bingo...
