:P ty its actually measured off my R33 interior.

well. it only took a few arvos to weld up. could use some refineing and was relatively cheap.....the only catch is the seat. I had it lying around and its an actual car recliner, so it weighs as much as the rest of it combined. a generic seat of a lighter cheaper description would make it much more affordable.

dude.. srsly??

what do you think polyphony have been doing for the last 5 years??

my money is that you'll forget all about forza before long..

working on other games.. As they stated in their interview.. Prologue and PSP GT and a couple of others.. You didnt think they been spending the last 5 years only working on this game?

well there is a light at the end of the tunnel. the game is currently in production.

there was some funny responses to this on GTPlanet. this was my favourite.

FOX NEWS BANNER APPEARS

This just in, a truck carrying all the Gran Turismo 5 discs has been loaded onto a plane to Yemen, along with a printer, a man wearing baggy underwear, and a guy wearing a shoe with a match.

yeah i been waiting for them to put a r33 gts-t in it too. do they have the r32 gts-t in the earlier ones? from memory they do. sif put that gutless piece of aids in and not the 33

I'm not sure. I haven't played GT since GT2, have been playing Forza.

In Forza 3 I had to convert a R33 GTR to RWD to make it like a GTST but it still keeps the RB26 so it's not a real GTST of course.

in gt4 you could get an r32 gts-t m spec, though if i remember you could only get the r33 gts and not the gts-t.

i will be pretty sad if theres no r33 gts-t. but you would think after taking 20 light years to make they would have all the nissan skyline's down pat. same goes for the 180sx.

Anyone know for sure if the R33 GTST is back in or not?

I'm tired of pulling out GT2 and the OLD Playstaion to relive my old car :)

I suppose we'll find out in about a months time.

pft, your doing it like a sucker

forza 3 has all the cars....

pretty sure one of the guys at harvey norman here has one. needless to say he works in the computer section. and he drives a supra, which isn't suprising since a hell of a lot of IT nerds drive imports. pretty much never see one in a commodore. it's usually either lancers or imports.

    • I refreshed the OEM injectors with the kit and connected it up. It now ideals okay even with the IACV removed. Driving still has the same cutoff issue like the 550cc injectors so the issue is somewhere else. I bought FPG's Fuel Pump Hanger. I will be installing it next, but it is not as straightforward as I thought it was with my limited wiring knowledge and no instruction on the specific model I purchased (FPG-089). I also got the incorrect billet clamp as I could not find info on the OEM sizing.

    • No. Turbo shuffle and surge/flutter are not the same thing. Specifically, on a GTR, turbo shuffle has a definite meaning. On a GTR, the twin turbos are assumed to be the same thing and to operate the same way, exactly. In reality, they do not. Their exhaust sides are fed and exhaust a little differently, to each other. Their inlet sides are fed and exhausted a little differently, to each other. Consequently, when they are "working" they are often at slightly different points on the compressor map compared to each other. What this means, particularly when coming on boost, is that one of them will spool up and start producing extra flow compared to the other, which will put back pressure on that other compressor, which will push the operating point on that other compressor up (vertically). This will generally result in it bumping up against the surge line on the map, but even if it doesn't, it upsets the compressor and you get this surging shuffle back and forth between them That is "turbo shuffle" on a GTR. It is related to other flutter effects heard on other turbo systems, but it is a particular feature of the somewhat crappy outlet piping arrangement on RB26s. There are plenty of mods that have been attempted with varying levels of success. People have ground out and/or welded more material into the twin turbo pipe to try to prevent it. Extending the divider inside it works, removing material doesn't. There are aftermarket replacement twin turbo pipes available, and these exist pretty mush purely because of this shuffle problem.
    • You can temporarily* use lock collars to keep it in place until you can do the bushes, back the nuts off, slide them in, snug back up. *temporarily is often for ever
    • Thanks for the quick reply. To be clear, when you say turbo shuffle do you mean turbo flutter "stustustu" or referring to something else? I had thought they were the same thing. When I wrote the post my intention was to say it wasn't a flutter/compression surge sound. My understanding was that a flutter sound would be occurring when throttle is released, whereas I can keep the throttle in the same position for this noise
