Ive just bought a Pioneer 600 w amp second hand, two new kicker 6 inch splits and two new blauplunkt 6 inch splits for the rear, one second hand JL audio sub, and ive got a JVC mp3 head unit. Can anyone give me some ideas on weather to run all 4 speakers to the amp or to run the 2 front speakers and the sub ?. Also does anyone know where i could get a general install map (diagram) with wires flowing to each component ?

Thanks for your help !

do u know the specs of the amp in rms and the specs of ur subs and other speakers?

generally u'd want to run the amp to the front 2 speakers and bridge 2 channels to the subs but normally u'd have a seperate amp for the sub as it requires more power than speakers.

If you are on a budget, run the fronts of channel say 1 & 2 of the amp. Bridge up channels 3 & 4 by using the outside 2 terminals on the and low pass them. Runn the rears of the jvc headunit, will be all they need. later on, run the rears off that amp as well and go to someting like a mono block for the subs. hope this helps.

Any further questions just shout out

Run channels 1 and 2 into the front splits. Run channels 3 and 4 bridged into the sub. Like this:

You're at the front and your ears face forwards so unless you have people in the back constantly or your running 5.1 surround, you don't really need rear speakers. :(
