Drove pass Parramatta road today and I got my eye on a new shape Elgrand AUTECH RIDER in white.

Everything is not comfrimed yet but high chance I should be buying it...

anyway details of my car...

2003 M35 AXIS AUTECH in Peral White ( hard to get in oz )

recently just did a major service with all new plugs and fan belts..

new RDA slotted disc and EBD pads allround.

new JDM aftermarket hatch lip spoiler

new JDM floor mat....

I was going to built it as a VIP wagon until I think Elgrand is a better VIP build up car that i needed...

89kms.

I think a few of the members here already seen my car in the stagea meets ...

anyway, please make me an offer as I need to workout a change over price to show my wife!

cheers,

David

Dave,

how soon do you want to sell?

It was this car, right? (I've got a few of my own photos from this, but they're on my laptop, so I just used Ian's shot.)

PM sent.

Dave, you are one twisted individual arn't you? :D

First you tell me your car has plenty of punch and you wouldn't want to high-flow your turbo now you go and do this!!! LOL

But I wouldn't mind an Elgrand with Nismo kit but I definatly would not sell the Stagea for it. Mind you both of them would look good in my driveway and would give us a comfy spot to sit when we have our Thursday night meeting at Erina

Nick,

Thankz for the pics sure it will saved me sometimes to dig out the older pics...

Stephen,

er...yea....I change my mind quite a bit....but its not comfrimed yet...

still thinking should i replace the stagea for elgrand or not at the moment as i love my axis so much and i have already spend some decent money it...

power wise...Im still happy with the power..but then the more the better!!! hahahah

No worries, as if I really bough the new car, U can take a rest in my elgrand for sure after runs!!! lol

dont take this the wrong way, and everyones tastes are different, but the elgrand is ugly! unless you need all 7 (or was it 8) seats, keep the stag

*seinfeld voice*

Boooooooo.... BOOOOOOO!

What is the deal with the hate for the van?

I mean, it is powerful, looks good, can be done up easily and has plenty of space.... You know?

but I agree, keep the Stag.... unless Nick wants it!

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
