nissan paint code for S2 Sonic Silver is KR4, if you want me to double check post up your vin or pm it to me and i'll put it into fast and it will show me the nissan paint code for your car.

The paint code should be on the Japanese compliance plate anyway, so you should be able to find it as soon as you look under the bonnet.

Just a quick gotcha - Sonic silver (not the actual code 'KR4', but the name of the colour) is used post 2002, but is a different tint. Be sure to use the code & the name when obtaining paint.

oh ok. i thought that was the name for the silver on the R34's and S2 stagea's. what is the name for the silver on the stagea's then?

this site is usually a help but doesn't list sonic silver. nissan colour codes

Sorry, I may not have explained properly;

KR4 (Sonic Silver) is the correct colour for the C34.

BUT

There is another Sonic Silver used in later model cars that is not correct (I don't know the code offhand).

any idea where to get some KR4? ive tried two nissan dealers here in adelaide another paint supply place and they can't help me. Ive got a reasonable scratch in the front quarter panel i need cleaned up and would rather have the panel panted rather then just touched up.

I bought a 1 litre a while ago for a series 2 to respray the engine bay. Only used half of it. No longer need it, but I am in Brisbane

Just the 2 pac base coat alone was just over a $100/litre in a good brand

Any car paint supplies should be able to mix it up.

According to Glasurit paints there is one version from 1996-2002

I've only recently bought a small pot of touch-up and one pressure pack (with clearcoat mixed in) from Lonsdale Paint Supplies. I just asked for some KR4 Sonic Silver & a day later it was ready.
