I find that my current exhaust is too noisy, especially at idle.

I'm very keen to get a titanium ARC exhaust but I'm a bit confused with all the pipe/tip size options.

I'm looking for one that's not too noisy at idle but comes alive when you step on it.

Has anyone had much expirience with these and what are your suggestions?

Thanks

Michael

Why not throw another muffler into it? I am currently doing that to mine right now. The exhaust sounds great but down low it is a little noisy for me so I am going to put a 3rd free flowing barrel muffler into it.

can the drone be fixed with another muffler or is it more to do with the zorst design and metal??

Michael, how about you start by telling us what exhaust system you are running at the moment?

If you want quiet, I would suggest either a Kakimoto Regu 06&R, or one of the new Blitz systems.

I have got HKS dump pipes, HKS front pipe and a Kakimoto exhaust.

I have got this terible drone around 3000 revs that is acctually affecting my hearing.

When I spoke to Beer Barron couple months ago about this problem he suggested an ARC titanium exhaust as one of the best.

According to RMS motorsports 80mm main pipe ARC titanium exhaust would be the least noisy option but I wanted to get some opinions before spending over $4000 for it.

I was very interested in which Fujitsubo exhaust Johhny had since their Titanium exhausts have decibel levels close to or just above the stock R34 GTR exhaust decibel levels (at least according to their website) but unfortunatelly his reply to me got erased by someone.

I'm aware that there a many previous topics addressing the exhaust noise/note but I was specifically interested in ARC Titanium exhausts hence the new topic

Hey man, Id hate to see you get an exhaust like a titanium one and wind up with a drone + over legal db levels thats why im keen on you getting the same exhaust as mine; i even have the test sheet (done 5 times) at 87db@5000rpm

I had a race cat in before i went for the full test and hit just over 90db; think it was 91db so still close to legal but i put back in a high flow cat for the 87db run.

My reply before was that i dont know much about model numbers for r34 gtrs in the fuji range but im more than happy to take a photo of it so maybe some1 could shed some light.

Info i can give now is tha it is s/s with a large rear muffler and a mid muffler which fits nicely against the body...hence no scraping and it passes well above 100mm from the ground even with my nismo s-tune suspension

Hope that helps man, let me know if u need any more info
