Ha! Got it back and it was pumping out just shy of 360kw atw. It lifted off the dyno the first run so we needed people in the boot.

The Autronic rocks.

Hahaha that's awesome, mine too. I think the chick that works there now nearly fell out :(

Will have to line them up one day very similar output now!

I hope to get along as a spectator :)

Off topic but I beleive it ran 440awkw's on pump fuel? That number sticks in my head for some reason, correct me if I'm wrong. There is some very nice machining and porting work on the engine. Not many RH9 certified in Oz, top effort!!

Personally 360awkw's (480hp) is ORSM on the RB26 with small twins and minor mods for the 32 GTR's. -7's for response, lovely. HKS 2530's, -5's, N1's & -7's great for the daily GTR on the street. If I had the extra $$$ for the HKS2530's I probably would have, but -7's rock and are great reliable bang for buck.

Too true, I've heard some horror stories about Gas motorsport as well, but I'll leave that for another day.....

PM sent to everyone that was asking questions. Basically, I have told them that it is up to them wether they run their cars and all I have done is to share my experience.

hey if you dont mind sending me your exprience that would be appreciated. was looking forward to the day and possibly running my car up as well be great if you could tell me what happend.

Thanks mate

Haha and I don't know what you have running in your GTR but my "small" twins aren't going to beat a Supra with a big single!

Nor do I really care, for me this is about checking out some awesome cars and seeing how mine goes at all 4 as opposed to just at the rears like I normally see.

Unless you want massive horsepower for a dyno, don't go the single. Twins still give you far better response.

Who are you thinking about doing the job?

Single not much laggy i was thinking of a gt35r or T04z.

Mates Supra running a T04z spools at 3krpm

I know there is only 2 supra's going on this day should be easy to beat.

The 2 Supra's that are going on the dyno are one MKIII N/A and a TO4Z powered MKIV. The N/A will be lucky to get 90 rwkw and the single should get around the 360 to 370 rwkw. I don't know of any others that will going on this dyno.

unless it is running a tiny exhaust housing (which then defeats the purpose of going a large turbo) a T04Z is not going to be giving you decent boost at 3k, on a 26 you are looking at full boost around 4500-5000.

Arr so that white Supra is going on.

I take it Rp071 you going to the Show and Shine

MkIII N/A might get 70rwkw lol

This is true engine displacement makes a difference.

Might also do a stroker

For everyone who is planning on coming - I wont be able to organise a meeting place as I will be there early to help set up so someone will need to put their hand up to be the organiser :D

I'm seriously looking forward to this event, I think that if we get enough interest it could lead to birth of a sort of Japanese car Summernats (without the bogan idiots of course) in the future!

See you all there!

Is this really all that are coming???

1. Bullet32 - Show 'n' Shine

2. Kat - Dyno comp and Show 'n' Shine

3. Bluprint - Show 'n' Shine

4. Ex!$t3nZ - Show 'n' Shine (ill be coming but my car will probably be parked with the toymods people)

5. Shell - Show 'n' Shine

Where would we like to meet beforehand? Haha if there's 5 of us and only 4 skylines not sure if this actually matters.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
