Why don't we organize a Cruise for all you Sydney Porn-Hungry/Fireworks Hungry (actually can someone buy me some fireworks) desperate guy's and when you all have finished wanking we might actually get a real cruise sorted out. I'm sure Shell and Mel would be real interested in checking out the local porn shops.....Maybe there's even a bus company that can cater for your needs. You know like the bus trip that all the old girls go on,,,,,Asics/Puma/Perfumes,,,lunch with scones and cream that type of stuff.

Neil.

LMFAO! Mention porn and the whole thread turns to shit...don't you guys know you can mail-order this stuff???? I can put you on the Adultshop mail order list you know..I have "contacts" heheh

well anyway.....do we want to meet halfway or not?

I just think we'd get a lot more ppl from Sydney if we do. Having an overnighter in Canberra prolly won't appeal to a lot of ppl. We could do that another time, but for now I was hoping to get some ideas of where/when to meet halfway, and put it up on SDU when we've decided, and hopefully get a decent turnout for a day cruise.

akira...dates I was thinking of are either weekend of the 15/16 or 22/23 June. The weekend of the 8/9 is no good for me..V8's are in town  ....I have my grandstand seat booked already.

oh and Neil !!!!

i don't need those bus trips that the "old girls" (watch yaself there!!!!!) go on!! I work in Fyshwick....I already know where they all are! hehe

me goes to get lunch...oh look! there's a pornshop, another pornshop...ahhhh TAKEAWAY yayyyy FOOD!, pornshop, pornshop...oooh brothel...pornshop...ahh here I am, back at work finally (which is a printing company for all you that might make smart-ass comments lol) :)

heeey, not fair. pornography is an integral part of life for men so don't act like you don't have a stash of mags taller than you.

did you watch the saints game? how close did we come. what a piece of luck. we're still shocking though.

hey, i've got tickets to the doggies vs dragons game in round 18 out at win. got them from an ntg chick (the doggies sponsors) i've got a spare one if you wanna come.

akira, anytime after June 13th. get my license back then and Paul looses his on the 8th so he won't be able to come

couldn't help myself paul. you can ride with me shmookins. let's see if i've come to my senses and can drive like a normal person.

Jimbo, i'm pissed at you. i was waiting in the rain with the fish and chips and you didn't show. what gives?

Sounds good Shell.

Maybe a drive through Goulburn, then find a park/BBQ area to have lunch, a game of cricket or something (depending if the temps are in the minuses), another drive etc, then the desprates, opps, I mean blokes who want to goto the porno factories can follow us back to Canberra.

One thing we'll have to watch is the Police at Goulburn, I've heard that they can be a bit 'strong willed' at times.

So we may have to be on our best behaviour :)

J

P.S. - I'll be able to get that chrome SDU sticker off you then too.

Yep dates sound great Shell,,,,but has anybody looked at a map yet,,,,Yuko's. Heaps of dirt roads left and right of Goulburn. You can't get more than 50 Kays out of there without hitting dirt. Maybe out to Yass up to Boorowa and then up through Godfrey's Creek to Koorawatha and on to Cowra. 21 Kays out of there is Wyangala Dam. I have no idea what it's like ,,,just a thought looking at the map tonight. Bloody hell if we do that run,,,it's only 110 kay's to Bathurst.....Interesting,,,, No5 should be still in the Raceway's Museum.

    • The question then becomes - was there any fluid coming from that hole before you did the rebuild ?    You may not have noticed, of course.   Depending on how you did the rebuild, the possibility has to be considered that somehow (cleaning ?)  fluid entered that hole and is now being 'forced'  out by small movements of the proportioning valve.   From the factory, there's actually a small rubber plug in that hole but with age and under-bonnet heat it's quite common for it to 'go missing'.  That rubber plug is designed to allow the venting process but also to prevent 'stuff' getting to the area (prevent corrosion, etc).   The plug is also not available as a spare part AFAIA. Personally I wouldn't race and buy a new master just yet but keep an eye on the area to see if the 'leak' continues.   If you're concerned about brake fluid damaging nearby paintwork, cable tie a piece of suitable absorbant material over the hole and remove/monitor occasionally.    Operation of the proportioning valve and the brake master itself won't be affected, but also keep an eye on brake fluid level, of course. In terms of a new master, the genuine part is getting expensive, unfortunately.  Amayama is showing AUD900+.   I was searching recently and there's an aftermarket part available from Japan made by 'Parts Assist': https://zenmarket.jp/en/yahoo.aspx?q=BNR32%2bBM50&p=1 Whether it's any good I have no idea, although in my experience Japanese aftermarket stuff is pretty good quality-wise.   The above site allows overseas buyers to purchase stuff more easily from Japan but there are fees and shipping costs, of course.   The original Japanese seller page is here: https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/p1197401228 Copper/Nickel is fine but I still prefer bundy tube and it's also cheaper.
