Slight error - Vic is 6th to 8th August 2004!

You may well be correct.

The Friday/Sat/Sun is the 6th-8th - so Anthony probably got it wrong - Apologies to anyone misled..

When I spoke to Anthony last night, he told me those dates, but said double check with Sam on the Vic dates.

I won't call Sam at the moment as he is going to be hell busy this weekend with The Porsche Mt Buller Sprint..

Good news, I just spoke to Anthony and the price for this year is $2200 for 2 drivers. Events look the same as last year which means a great variety including the spectacular Sutton Road Hillclimb course ;)

And, we can still get a 6 cyl tubro rwd class if we get 6 entries....hint hint.

Entry forms and sup regs are here:

http://www.duttonrally.com/NSWDefault.html

Forms In:

Oz and Zane - R33 GTR

Definate but no forms yet:

Duncan and Fatz - R32 GTR

Kel and Majanal - W34 Stagea

Hopeful!

Carlo and Daz - R33 GTST

GTR032, codriver? - R32 GTR

Bman?

Red900ss?

Gonads?

Dominic?

haw001?

Why don't some of you hopefuls get together and turn into definates. At only $2200 to enter, including accomodation, petrol etc you should get out for under $1500 each for a TOP weekend :)

Yes, I got my form and deposit in.

$1,100 (of O.P.M.) well spent.

And a big thank you to my Major Sponsors

Pacific pool cleaning,

CHU Insurance

AA Accomplished Pest Control

Powertek electrical

Always on Top roofing

and the lesser sponsors (cheapskates who wont pay for a full year in advance)

Hey,

Very keen to enter - Have Co driver aswell, John (F3 driver) ;)

Just need to sort out sponsors and cash , going to Japan in January left me with empty pockets, although I did get some decent car parts!

Also, whats the deal with 6cyclinder RWD turbo class, R32 GTR's are ok even though 4WD?

cheers

Jono

Hey Jono, GTRs will be competing in (dominating ;)) class A, 4wd turbo.

The new class we were trying to get hold of was RWD turbo to give the GTSTs a chance of class victory.

Good to hear you're in too ;)

OK cool, thanx

'Dominating' class huh? hahaha

I better get some track/skidpan practice in, only done 1 track day in GTR. Was the PULSAR GTIR day at Wakefield last september I think. You were there too..didn't get past me though ;)

yeah, I think that skidpan practice is what I need most....we did *very* poorly last year in the wet. The track sections are pretty straight forward as long as you've been there before

and keep your hands off your fuses biatches ;)

Yeah, for sure spectating should be great, it will be at Eastern Creek all day on the long weekend Monday....track, skidpan and figure 8 with all sorts of exotic cars being chopped by skylines :worship:

Dan......if ya can't beat em....join em

    • Yeah, I don't believe the M35 uses a deadhead system.
    • Have you done your thinking backwards? 3 bar, 43.5 psi pressure drop being the presumed specification for an injector, means you need 3 bar upstream when they are firing into atmospheric pressure, and more upstream pressure than that when on boost (you add your boost to your rail pressure to maintain 3 bar across the injector) and you need..... less pressure upstream when you have vacuum in the manifold. So, presuming that you're idling at -10 psi, then you only need ~23 psi in the rail. I realise that I did not need to say all of that to you specifically Matt, once you'd realised your mistake. It's mostly there for complete clarity for others.
    • Have you reached out to the guys at Spool Imports? They are a Ross dealer, I can imagine they would have the rings just sitting on the shelf (I could be wrong).
    • There's one for sale at Grand Auto Wreckers in Lonsdale (SA), for .... let's suggest the sum they're asking for will make you cry. You may have to embrace the idea of modifying the rear subframe to accept some other diff. You could probably find a way to wangle a shortnose into there, with a custom rear adapter and some sort of shenanigans to relocate the front mounts. This has probably already been done by others, so there might be some guidance available as to how easy/impossible it is, out there in the googles. But you possibly needn't restrict yourself to Nissan diffs if you're going to contemplate that. There are similarish Toyota diffs, possibly some Euro ones, possibly some Seppo ones.
    • The ball joint taper and arm taper have to match angle and diameter, but just doing the bushes is a much better option.....seems like the industry moved to "it is cheaper to replace the whole arm than take on the labour for changing this bushes", glad the aftermarket supports it
