yea was a fun weekend

cheers brad for the help, the alignment which felt shit on the road was farken awesome at the track

had to completely adjust my style of driving to get the best out of the car as there is now very limited understeer (in the rain it was understeer city though)

truly amazing that the car held together

couple of issues (the bad)

the accelerator pedal fell off(looks like i didnt tighten those bolts)

if revved over 6k the breather would oil up the rear turbo and go through the engine and out the exhaust(definatley needs a catch can)

car would only do 8 laps before fuel surge (ghetto mod to fuel pump got it across the line)

single peice tail shaft is not balanced i think which is quite annoying

fire extinguisher tried to escape a few times

once it rained the window fogged up like a bitch

the good

car went hard all weekend even though we could only rev her to 6k

stoptech brakes were awesome

driving standards were quite high

anyway a 1:10 on 3 year old ku36's and only reving to 6k and heavy traffic is fine

i think even with the shit tyres it would easily do a low 1:08 as i was not pushing it at all to get the low 1:10

anyway, its back to brad's for a surge tank, catch can, front lsd and hopefully back out for the circuit club day

i am still amazed that it made it and kept on trucking!

anyway enough bullshit here are some pics

I do remember telling you it would feel like busted arse on the road but would be nice on the circuit ;)

Good to hear straight off the trailer it handled well, got some idea bout setting up a skyline hey ;)

Haven't finished the setup yet, needs a little more work on the scales.

Can't help laugh at the throttle pedal that's truely a fatz only moment!

The fatz racer has shinny parts,

Dunno how long they will look like this for but meh.

Catch can has a low side that drains back to the sump.

There is also a custom catch can infront of the battery and a new design under car surge tank that ive been developing.

Ill put up some photos of it latter but it holds 4.5L and supports two 044 pumps or a single weldon pump. Has internal baffles and is also foam filled.

I make heaps of them.

I've got a few designs now depending on how much people want to spend.

I don't have any sitting around I haven't been bothered to make any for a while. Currently I'm just making them to order when needed.

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
