Ecu To Suit R33

Hey guys

Im planning on getting my car tuned as i did some upgrades to my car. Just wondering which ECU will be the best for my r33? I've been looking at the apexi power fc and the link g4 ECU's but would like to know more about other ECU's and compare which one will be the best for my car.

Any of you guys experienced any bad issues with a particular ECU?

The cheapest option is Nistune (daughterboard that is installed inside the stock ECU to unlock realtime tuning), do your research though.

Nistune is not avilable for the R33

Some people use an R32 ecu and chip that but do a search on ecu, link, vipec, motec, power fc there are 100s (probably thousands) of posts already.

I use Nistune at my workshop. I use Z32 ECUs in R33 GTSt and swap a few wires.R32 will not support VVT but Z32 does.

R33 GTR use R32 GTR ECU. Nothing comes close to Nistune in a good Streetcar, No matter what the price but your lucky Nistune is by far the cheapest.

Simple steps

1. Go to your tuner

2. Ask them what they use most commonly

3. Buy that ECU

4. Get them to tune it

No point giving a tuner something they dont like/know.
