hey guys

looking at dump pipes, found the just jap ones for 200 stainless, ive been told that the dumps need to drop down further and kick up again near the cat to avoid the floor, they have told me at just jap this will fit without any dramas anyone back this up it looks to have a kick up at the rear of the dump. just want to make sure its all sweet

Hey there BLACK WARRIOR,

I've got the same front + dump on my car, and when getting it installed, the guys at the exhaust shop needed to heat it up and bend it (only a touch), in order to make it fit just right. As all places will stress - there's a chance that it could crack when attempting this; but it ended up fine.

Other members who have installed this themselves have all said the piece needs some 'massaging' in order to make it fit just right.

It's a great mod for 200 bucks and I would definitely buy it again =) [but expect spending an additional 50 bucks for installation in order to make it fit just right]

Mine fit fine from JJR (3 inch bellmouth), no modifications and no rubbing. I have a 98 series 2.

JJR offerred to take it back if it didn't fit properly. The R33 GTST is the one I ordered. Speak to Darron at Just Jap, he will set you straight. I think they have redesigned the bellmouth now.

      Yes, overthinking. Many PS reserviors are completely opaque. Our Skyline ones, for example. Have to remove lid, peak inside, swirl the dipstick, try to remember how to read it, etc etc. Normal. Radiator overflows are often sufficiently opaque and scunged up that you can't see the true level inside anyway, and have to open and have a peak. Besides which, I replaced the (massively expensive, even back then) plastic overflow in my Alfa GTV, back in the '90s with a stainless one that I had a good fabricator make up to be dimensionally same-same, that looks remarkably similar to the Bogan's Moroso one above, and I never suffered any particular paranoia that I didn't know how much coolant was in it.

      Looks great, but I'm always concerned that it makes it difficult to see what level the fluids are at. Am I overthinking this?

      Looks fancy But after having a look, prior to its installation, I noticed that the yellow looking power steering reservoir would look crap next to this So I have this incoming..... Much cheaper than the Moroso and has great reviews (yeap, it's a Moroso knock off)

      Can we place bets? My money is on there is always the option to use the 1 way profile. So the diff is either 2 way and 1 way, or 1.5 way or 1 way.

      I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
