tein super streets, aus spec, full stiff front and back.

whiteline adjustable swaybars front and back, both on hard setting

pineapples in the rear, set for max squat, shoulnt effect it i dont think ?

tyres are crappy china spec atm, 235/45/17 front, 255/40/17 rear

alignment is fine, no wobbles even at high speed

Soften the front sway bar first to deal with the understeer, but if you've got rubbish tyres this might be more dangerous unless you're handy with opposite lock.......

i will soften front and see how that is, booking in for new rear tyres asap so was wondering wether or not to do fronts too, might aswell i suppose

i aint no D1 drifter but yeh i can steer through most situations lol, never over corrected yet touch wood

thanks for the replies :D

More air in the front tyres. Less air in the rears.

Soften the front suspension. Stiffen the rear suspension.

More front camber. Less rear camber

Probably get some decent tyres.

booked in for bridgestone adrenalins all round tomorrow, will see how that is.

if need to will soften front springs slightly, if still not working will soften front sway bar.

psylor, cant stiffen rear swaybar, as i mentioned its already max stiff

ur gonna adjust spring rate before ARB's? u realise springs are at least $100ea, whereas adjusting sway bars is free right?

haha yeh mate, read up a bit, adjustable coilovers. cheers :)

also new adrenalins made a bit of diff already. will keep fine tuning. cheers for all replies guys :)

yeh i know, but from what i read sumone suggested to "maybe soften the front dampers up abit, get more grip on the front"

just read back, i did say "soften front springs" meant dampers, my bad lol

haha yeh mate, read up a bit, adjustable coilovers. cheers :)

yeh as mentioned that doesnt give u adjustment in ur springs, only changing springs changes the spring rate.

damper adjustment is more complex than what it seems, ur better off adjusting ur sway bars as that will give more predictable results.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
