Ok here is a picture of my spark plugs, I just pulled them out to examine them. Been in my R32 GTR for approx 3 months now. Previously it had iridium in there but I just wanted coppers, because I pull them out every time I servie anyway to inspect so thought I might as well replace them every time. Now, I think they look pretty good, slight discoloration which I think I spot on for 3 months of use. The only thing I noticed out of place is that the plug that came out of number 1 cylinder looks really clean compared to the others. Here is a pic anyway. Tell me what you think.

Are you using an additive?

Looks as if the one on the left hasn't even been touched...

It doesnt look lean - it would be alot worse if it was and the car would show other signs like detonation.....

What type of plugs are you using as they may be too cold for the type of driving you do?

The one on the left looks like ALL the plugs in my R33 rb26 ie. looks like its straight out the box.

I run BKR7 @ 11.5psi most of the time and 13.5psi high boost. with the wideband hitting 12:1 at about 4500rpm and goes to 10.6:1 at 7200rpm -stock ecu.

Is this a sign that the plugs are too cold???

U definitely have a problem though as all plugs suppose to show the same burn.

What plugs do u use?

U should get ur injectors cleaned and flow tested.

looks like an injector problem, just take them out and down to your local spares shop, they should be able to clean, supply new pintle caps for under $30.00 each.

as for smell, I think using 7 range is overkill, I was using 6 range plugs @1.3bar/18PSI

      Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!

      Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that

      Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

      What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
