The car was running fine with standard BOV and 10psi.

i purchased a GFB BOV and once the car is warmed up it stalls once the BOV releases under full boost??

Any ideas what maybe causing this?? Ive tried adjusting the Bov but nothing happens??

Also every now and then the car will stutter under full boost. cold or hot???

Something to do with venting to air I think I have the same GFB BOV if I vent to air it stalls after a quick rev. Its because the air isnt going back through the engine and out past the o2 sensor

If you do a search you'll find a fair bit of info on this subject.

Basically what ducati02 has stated is correct, the AFM/fuel ratios spit it because of the loss of charge in the intake and the ECU over-fuels to compensate.

The only fix is to use a hybrid BOV which recirculates and vents to atmo, though this isn't 100% effective and the car can still stall.

If you were to use an ECU that utilises a MAP sensor, you can do away with the AFM and vent 100% to atmo without stalling. Though this is a bit extreme for a bit of noise.

Unless you're running high boost pressure, the stock bypass valve is very effective, though fairly quiet.

There is PLENTY of info on the subject, not a fait bit - its a mammoth amount :P

Please use the search function "ATMO BOV" & "STALLING" are probably a pretty good start, infact it should answer all your questions.

Or you can just put the stock BOV on.
