hungry6
Yes, i have recently realise, that i'm spending less and less time in my skyline and instead of pulling it apart and selling it as bits i've now have decided to farm it out to towing my jetskis as a gesture of retiring for the old girl. well i've sorted of detune her a little bit so economies can be realise and when the semi slicks runs out, normal road tyres will be refitted. After 7 years of ownership i've have come to a point where a car is and can be TOO fast for normal road use, but it have always brought a grin to my face everytime the pedal hit the floor. BTW anyone can recommend or knows where i can get a tow bar for an r33 as i've rang around and no ones makes them. Zoix
from seeing my father making towbar attachments for cars, I would say that the skylines is not possible because the chassis rail would be hard to bolt onto as the fuel tank takes up alot of the room under there, and also all the kits that people have. So basically I would suggest getting another car, not too many sport cars have towbars. BelGarion
there was a fellow who was towing a pair of jetskis on a trailer up the esplinade behind a r33 not so long back, talk to towbar manufacturers, im sure they can sort something custom out in the worst case scenario Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28917-new-duties-for-my-skyline/#findComment-596028 Share on other sites
jlnewton
I though I heard someone say that a s15 towbar fits a R33? Could be mistaken. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/28917-new-duties-for-my-skyline/#findComment-596037 Share on other sites
hungry6
No, the skyline eats the RS6 Erin by a huge margin, as for getting another car, my garage is bit crowded and friends are getting impatient with my cars all over there yard.and the skyline would be cheaper to "write off" than one of the other one, prolly use the X5 if i can't get a tow bar made.
