we are not that far behind you guys.....5 points and one game in hand lol we will catch ya

thats true, im just loving the fact that theyre not sucking anymore

i had to pick a team in 89 when i was doing primary school soccer (so hardcore yo haha) so i went for chelsea cause i knew a chick called chelsea and she was dead hot

too bad the team was sucking badly for most of the time in school. and i was also a footscray supporter in the VFL at the same time, so I got no love from either code... go figure

tbh havent followed soccer for a long time and was kinda of surprised to see chelsea get up the last few years... now if only the western bulldogs can get a premiership, i'd be happy

both my younger brothers play soccor pretty hardcore.

one of them (only 16) was scouted the other month to go to england to train with a few teams (chelsea, man u, arsenal and another cant remember) and go for a scholarship for school and train with one of the teams that select him.

abit full on but my parents are taking it pretty serious. coughing up over 6 grand for him to go.

also my youngest brother (only 11) is apparently playing a the same level as my other brother. the scouter says he may be better then my 16 year old brother when hes the same age and might be heading to the uk too.

we'll see i guess....

ur fam is from the USA tho arent they? Or am I way off base?

I just never thought soccer was a big deal in the US

-D

lol, how did you know that?

nah my mom is from the uk, dads from the us. massive story but ive lived in heaps of places and sports has always been a huge thing in my family, both sides

usa side is all baseball and gridiorn (which i played for my schools and state) and the english side is all rugby and soccer (which my 2 brothers play state in)

ever since we moved back to aus my brothers have been playing soccer with friends then took it abit more serious with state tryouts and what not.

Kye if either of your brothers need a run during summer I have an indoor soccer team that occasionally needs players. Already had d&butts, FOOLBOOST & Evil34 play from SAU. A few star juniors would round our team out nicely

Sorry to hear about your dog Dave. I had to put my dog down last year and it still brings a tear. What was her name and what type of dog was she? Can you post a pic?

got pics around here somewhere. but yeah, still lacking in effort somewhat.

name was dutchess (blame my sister), maltese poodle, so an annoying little yappy thing, as heslo will attest, but yeah, she was pretty hilarious, and a great dog. we lost our other dog missy who we rescued (about 13 years ago) not even 12 months ago, so yeah, its cutting pretty deep.

David where abouts do you guys play indoor mate?

I play on sunday arvo/nights at marion

post-31501-1258330382_thumb.pngLast night come out of Mawson uni to see this shocker. The picture is a map of the destruction, P plater in magna im guessing on drugs, comes flying in at around 80-100km over the speed humps (car is bottoming out on them from the speed) guy was trying to leave the car park in a v35 4door nearly got cleaned up there, he gets to the roundabout and hits it with his right wheel up that curb ends up going straight ahead up the curb in front of the sporting complex there crashing next to a couple of pedestrians who are probably soiled themselves. He sits there for about 30seconds and reversing back and continues on the path of destruction along the green line on the map. The guy in the v35 attempts to leave at this point along with another 4wd thing in front of him. The magna’s not done though and comes flying back swerving just in time to miss the skyline and hit the 4wd in front. He did not smell of booze but he was definitely not all there, even after they stoped and chatted security told him to come into the office he was still booting the car around.

Guess the main thing is no one was hurt and no skylines damaged ;)

Most clubs ban logo's on shirts.

What they should ban. Is Ed Hardy.

Please.

And they're opening a f**king Ed Hardy store in the Myer centre. Why. Why. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

ed hardy looks like the brain child of liberace and a mexican wrestling costume designer

'the geeen line of the map'

?

You could've made it bigger then 1 x 1 pixel Dan, even with my supervision goggles I still can't see wtf you're on about.

The addition of a map aids nothing to that story whatsoever ;)

Nevermind it's Mawson Lakes, that map is fucked all around from the start :P

Doesn't Dave have a Magna for a daily? ;)

On a related note I saw some dreg in a boonga VL drop a fatty skid right in front of the cops at work last night  like litterally the cops had to wait at the exit of work for this guy to stop peeling past them before they could chase him hahahhaah

my bro was telling me he seen a v8 do a burnout out the pub slam into a pole then the driver jumped out and did a runner. few days later he seen in the paper he got done for insurance fraud claiming the car was stolen when everyone at the pub seen him jump into it

I play on sunday arvo/nights at marion

We play at O'Halloran Hill on Monday nights. We play on a full size basketball court + the extra 1-1.5m surrounding the court as the ball never goes out. Skill is an advantage but if you have no fitness you (plural/general you, not you specifically Krishy) will struggle. I can't last a 15 minute half without subbing off at least once.

    • Nah. Was just wondering if you were having a small stroke or if there was some slur/gaf/inside joke that I wasn't aware of.
    • That was a fark up, it's Salamanca Place I was thinking of. And now I'm curious as to what potential slur/gaf I have caused with Salamander Road, ha ha!
    • Actually everyone on the roads was really well behaved. The only person that did any minor tailgating was a local hoon in a Turbo Focus. Unfortunately we weren't going the same way so there was no grand initial D touge battle. Lots of people pulled over and let me through. The amount of "Hey man nice car, omg skyline, nice 34 man woo" was suprising. Like really suprising. Like almost annoying. My partner was obviously surprised, she'd never seen anyone in the real world point out the car/like the car/want to chat about the car before, so to have like 3 people per day mention it was notable, I could finally say SEE? SOMEONE THINKS THEY'RE COOL. Everyone was also pretty suprised about the weather. Every day was dry and about ~13-14C. Mount Wellington had a sign that said they close the gates at 9pm and I was heading up there at about ~7:30. It was VERY apparent that conditions were getting significantly worse by the minute on the way up and down. The road on the mountain was terrible though, it's no driving road. I have various suspension related questions now. Luckily it was only about 20 minutes from where we were staying to the top of the mountain as said Google maps. We only had the 2 nights in Hobart. We went to the Farm Gate Market though which was really good - And went down to the Hastings Thermal springs/caves down there during the day. I'd definitely be up for going back again, so luckily there's a few more sights yet to see. Didn't get to do the west coast/queenstown/cradle mountain so this was supposed to be a 'scouting' trip anyway of sorts if I were to one day do/take part in/organize a more car-focused trip. As for the boat, it wasn't bad. Well it was bad, but not in the way you're thinking. We did the night trip which leaves at 6:45 (though you have to be there ~2 hours earlier) and arrives the next morning at about 6am. There is nothing to do on the ship. If you plan accordingly and bring a book/tablet/show to watch/charger you can just chill out, take some Travacalm and just sleep through it. The food there is an extremely basic buffet that costs $32 a plate, or $14 for a $3 pizza. The way back we had a travel kettle and a few different types of cup noodles and made our own tea/coffee in the room. This was a far superior way to do it. At the very least book one of the rooms with beds. I guess as we were in the off season we didn't have room mates. You get an option for rooms with 4 beds (2x bunks) or a room with just the two bottom beds. There's also some option for a deluxe queen bed but it's much pricer. We've been on sleeper trains in Asia before so we figured this is similar (and it was)
    • You just gotta be really, really, really clear and decisive with what you want your end product to be. 99% of people who want this conversion aren't "I want to run a 295 front tyre!" so they don't really need the widebody. They just want the OEM body to look a little less dumpy, so bonnet, bar, skirts job done with some camber, stretch, slam. It's when you want that, but then decide to pivot later you get big problems. See also if you're willing to get an all in one fibreglass bar, and you're willing to accept fibreglass problems like cracking the entire item on a driveway, instead of just a piece attached to the bottom, etc etc etc. Decide this all before buyin'.
