Shouldn't need replacing. They're brand new ISC N1s. Well according to Ryan hand tightening the bolts isn't enough and a rattle gun needs to be used.

all the bolts on my coils were tightened with an 18" breaker bar. the only knocks ive heard were from my wheels getting touchy feely with the inner guards. once i removed them i didnt have a problem.

whats it sound like exactly? a heavy metallic sound id be inclined to say the coilovers f**ked. if its a sorta dull thunking, id say a bush or maybe a stretch, an engine mount (thats what my problem was a little while ago, was worried it was a coil, it ended up being a naffed passenger side engine mount).

ugh.

If anyones got something, let me know ASAP as I just want to get a car and be done with it so I'm sure I'll have something by Saterday.

Don't really want to spent heaps as I'll be saving my cash for my EVO when I finially find one I like.

Cheers

Does anyone wanna see Paranormal activity???

i have it here, well a ''preview'' anyways.... :)

but im too scared to watch it! lol

Twas a good movie Craig. Some nice jumpy bits in it, different than your usual "horror" flicks
You'll sleep, don't worry

The film wasn't scary at all. I watched it at home, alone, after midnight, with all the doors and windows open and the only thing I was worried about was when the scary stuff was going to begin as the movie was ending soon. It didn't.

You may risk falling asleep before the movie ends. Double thumbs down.

What's this Feedback button on the right of the screen?

LOL so it's not just me. I saw it and was just like what the fk is this shit :D

On another also humourous note - the muffler fell off the cressy this morning :D Sounds beefy as now hahaha

On a less homourous note, I believe the crank is bent in my new RB20. Yay for never ending problems, time to get out the matches and petty I think.

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
