called tech support, they made me discconnect my phones which got me to 2.3mbps

my vodafone shit just hit 5.10mbps!

blah! GAY

Do you have a home alarm system, or cable TV...how many phones you got connected to your phone line?

As these can interfere with the ADSL. Every phone needs a filter, and then you can only use 3 filters, after which you need a central filter splitter. If you have a monitored home alarm system or cable TV you are going to need to ring them and organize to have a filter installed. I would also suggest getting rid of the Belkin ASAP, billion FTW, get a Billion 5200G ~$129, or better yet a 7300GRA ~$139, prices off the top of my head.

This should be in the computer thread for future reference I suppose but I've got the Netgear DG834N....how do they fair in relation to Billion & Belkin Abe?

i also happen to use a netgear router (cant remember the model number) and so far its done me good....

Dave won't receive a summons for "speed dangerous" (even though it's warranted for 45kph over).

The $600 fine, 6 demerit points & 6 mths loss of licence is actually a very good outcome for the cops.

I advised Dave to return the cops phone call immediately (to make their life easier) without any admission which is what they want from you when they ring.

For them to serve him a "speed dangerous" now, it would tie up the courts and further govt expense for possibly not necesarily a better outcome than they have on the table now. There have been lawyers that have argued the "proof of driver" deal before and although the "speed dangerous" is then dropped, they still result in loss of licence & fines.

If Dave on the other hand said, "yeah that was me driving", he'd expect another visit me thinks.........whenever you are 45kph over, you'll always get a phone call or visit 1st for that very reason.

I am JUST about to go onto my P2's... and I think I might be getting in trouble again. Gotta goto court... FFS S13. Got impounded on 1/1/10 lol. Heaps awesome kick off to 2010 :(.

The cops were actually pretty good and he said I shouldn't have anything to worry about in court but we will see how I go :\ I'm never getting off my f**ken P's lol

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
