Anyone know of who sells genuine Nissan R32 GTR front bars apart from Nissan?

I have to get the front bar replaced on insurance, but don't want some bullshit piss shit replica stuck on the car... you know, the shit that doesn't line up right and was moulded by a bunch of Year 2's in a playdough class.

Nissan or Nismo... either one. If I have to fork out $ from my own pocket, I will.

Last time I was at JIS they had two. Both in white and one had N1 slots. Both needed a little tidy up though.

I cant go see him knowing that it was my fault for him being in the hospital. if i only did someonthing else that could of prevented the whole accident, slowed down more or braked more i dunno there should have been something i could have done.
but he will feel bad if you dont go and visit him in the hospital.....think about it.....mistakes happen from everybody, so you going and seeing him will at least put his mind to rest knowing that you do care for how he is doing.....you are being too harsh on yourself Cara....just chill and go and have a chat with your mate in hospital....would be good for the both of ya
i cant go see him.........ive told him why he messaged me before. i cant go there and know that its my fault for him being in the hospital.

Cara I really disagree with your thinking here. I know you feel guilty but hiding from it is not going to solve it. Go and visit your friend. Tell him you are sorry. He will forgive you. He was there and he knows how quickly it all happened. You both need to talk about it and as Krishy said you both will feel better afterwards. The reason that he was in the car is because he was your friend. Be his friend now and go and see him. It won't be as difficult as you have built it up in your mind.

He will need you help and support for rehab. You will need his help and support to deal with your guilt. Don't abandon each other now when you need each other the most. That is the true test of friendship.

Is it possible your feeling guilty because your weren't paying attention and singing songs driving and being silly with your mate when this unfortunate accident happened

Does anyone that knows me want a Gold Clipsal ticket for tomorrow? It would obviously mean coming and hanging out with me as an official grid/promo girls photographer (ie. you take photos with me and every decent looking chick we come across). :P

    • Possibly avoid using a Cometic one unless the deck/head surface are perfectly flat. I did have a look just then and forgiving gaskets such as Tomei or Nitto don't exist for the FJ20, however the Bar-Tek or Kameari ones look good and might do the trick.
    • Because pipe threads for pipe things. M threads for bolt things. Throw some teflon sealant onto it and dust your hands off knowing you did the right thing, instead of going twice around the block to achieve a result using the wrong things. Of course, all of these solutions are ignoring the fact that the minimum thread pitch we're talking about here is 1.25mm, with the 1/4" in NPT or BPS being out around 1.4mm. You will need to know that the boss you're tapping has enough thickness for at least a few threads. That's one of the reasons that 1/8" is commonly used - because the pitch is <1mm. And why would you look to use 1/4" NPT in a BSP country anyway? Ugh.
    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)
