needs 15mm bolt ons, and 15mm less ride height.

Sure.

Feel like re-painting the GTR lip for me?

Already scraped it twice. People must think im drunk, swerving over the road, to get over a small dip in the road!

Yeah, some of the people with "slammed to the ground" standards obviously don't have steep-ish driveways :P

Considering I need to get my car from my driveway to the driveway at work, and back again, on a daily basis, I love how it sits right now.

DEATHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

my driveway is a demon... im just glad the 32 has a short wheelbase, the cressy used to scrape like all hell. the 32 is lower by a couple cm but makes it with ease

(my driveway has a small crest that can be death to an exhaust system)

My 32 was quite low then had a vertex kit onit too which made the front of the car only a few inches from the ground and I had one of those rounded gutters as my driveway entrance haha

learning to drive a low as f**k car is a skill lol a skill needed for awsome!

Found out some interesting info today.

Everyone remembers the crash on pt road ages ago. Some teenagers died, everyone says they were drag racing also and doing 160+k's

Had the girls dad come into work today and said the case is still going, there was no drag racing, and were doing around 80-90k's.

Basically the media added drag racing/hoons and speed to get readers/ viewers.

Fu*k media.

Sounds about right.

Add hoon/drag racing/teenagers to any story, and you get more readers.

Also, this business about advertising 'for sale' signs on your car is getting hilarious, Leon Byner had a field day this morning on 5AA about it..

drag racing is not street racing.

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required.
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday. Now for some reason I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  But I see no mention of this on any of the Tomei documentation.
