Its 14psi man, and if it weren't the engine would lean out and go BANG! as I only had standard injectors. And the standard boost gauge represents 14psi where it hits and sits all day everyday

Can someone help me out with a paypal payment? Its only $50, but its for a part I need in the post asap. Will get the $50 to you asap.

Long story, but I've close my bank account that I use to have my paypal linked with. Now I have no paypal set up properly.

PM me if you can help ... thanks :P

LoL I must be the first person to drop out of the Skyline club,, and let me tell ya they pulled my access to the forum area within min. of the email.

without even a return email to me = Pretty Lame

now I feel like the rejected redheaded stepchild...hahaha oh well

No you're not the first Troy. Your membership had lapsed and I sent you a PM regarding this, and you replied in turn advising you would not be renewing. Given your membership had lapsed and you advised not renewing, I informed Andrew to remove your tag (along with some others who have not renewed yet).

I don't see the problem Troy.

Your departure has been discussed with Shane and Pete, and we will be in contact shortly to discuss your continued involvement/discussion at some level with the club, and welcome your returning to the club in the near future.

guess I better practice up on my drinking skills now. for the next overnight car shows

I like stiring Ruby up..lol he gets so official..lol

the only thing that goes bang over 14 psi are ceramic turbine wheels

you'd make up to the 270-280 mark with std injectors at 99.9% duty cycle - only if you pushed it harder would it make a diff

guessing u had some kind of steel compressor turbos and the tuner set it to a good safe level...

-D

Whoze to say I have standard turbos in there Dohmar, not to mention if they are standard - whose to say they havn't been hifloed in any case if it did go over 14psi the motor would lean out and I'll be melting pistons lol

Congratulations, welcome to the year 2005 - you may now somewhat multi-task. :P

I'm joking(kind of)! I'm going to grab me an iPhone 4 as soon as its release, cant wait

I cant access all features of OS4 because I only have the 3G (as opposed to 3GS) but it still looks pretty, and works better.

I have a Nokia! Can I join in?

Cam has an iPod ... is he closer to being special than I am? :P

lol, I dont know (not saying you) why people get so uptight about paying out this that or the other, its a phone for crying out loud lol. Its only natural people have different tastes and preferences

Home screen is slightly updated, glass look thing down the botttom now and a few different icons

you missed my point

simply boosting past 14 psi is not a guarantee that it'll lean out - have heard of many people running n1 turbos on a 26 and having 18psi boost and getting a similar power figure to you - not sure how u manage that, as the most I ever got with 14psi boost was 210kw on stock gtr turbos

When I replaced my iPaq PDA, I wanted an iPhone ... but the price just wasn't right at the time. Two of the guys in the office have them, and they complain all the time about something wrong with them. I figured I'd just get a 'normal' (read: boring) phone for now ... altho my Nokia does have touch screen for easy use and internet access (3G) albeit slow. :P

    • For once a good news  It needed to be adjusted by that one nut and it is ok  At least something was easy But thank you very much for help. But a small issue is now(gearbox) that when the car is stationary you can hear "clinking" from gearbox so some of the bearing is 100% not that happy... It goes away once you push clutch so it is 100% gearbox. Just if you know...what that bearing could be? It sounding like "spun bearing" but it is louder.
    • Yeah, that's fine**. But the numbers you came up with are just wrong. Try it for yourself. Put in any voltage from the possible range and see what result you get. You get nonsense. ** When I say "fine", I mean, it's still shit. The very simple linear formula (slope & intercept) is shit for a sensor with a non-linear response. This is the curve, from your data above. Look at the CURVE! It's only really linear between about 30 and 90 °C. And if you used only that range to define a curve, it would be great. But you would go more and more wrong as you went to higher temps. And that is why the slope & intercept found when you use 50 and 150 as the end points is so bad halfway between those points. The real curve is a long way below the linear curve which just zips straight between the end points, like this one. You could probably use the same slope and a lower intercept, to move that straight line down, and spread the error out. But you would 5-10°C off in a lot of places. You'd need to say what temperature range you really wanted to be most right - say, 100 to 130, and plop the line closest to teh real curve in that region, which would make it quite wrong down at the lower temperatures. Let me just say that HPTuners are not being realistic in only allowing for a simple linear curve.
    • I feel I should re-iterate. The above picture is the only option available in the software and the blurb from HP Tuners I quoted earlier is the only way to add data to it and that's the description they offer as to how to figure it out. The only fields available is the blank box after (Input/ ) and the box right before = Output. Those are the only numbers that can be entered.
    • No, your formula is arse backwards. Mine is totally different to yours, and is the one I said was bang on at 50 and 150. I'll put your data into Excel (actually it already is, chart it and fit a linear fit to it, aiming to make it evenly wrong across the whole span. But not now. Other things to do first.
    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
