EDIT: About those Rota Wheels......me likey these very much......wonder what would look good on a silver car?

Silver, Bronze or Gunmetal?..........maybe the latter???

DPT AKA CE28N

18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Hyper Silver

18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Matt Bronze

18 x 9.5, 5 x 114.3 +22 Gun metal

That would be my choice if I were in the market for wheels. Silver what though?

Ive got myself a $10,000 piece of paper (diploma) in this audio shit...to me, it sounds doctored...theres way to much clarity in her voice. His is muffled and unclear, which i think has been done post recording as its not him (just an impersonator) to make it seem more real...

It was recorded from her end, if she had the phone on loudspeaker, then recorded, I would say that you'd get the same results as the leaked audio. Prove me wrong, I'm no expert, that's just how I see it

everything seems pretty easy to work on in 32's (apart from the things in the engine bay that require size 1 Japanese hands like the f**king tensioning bolt on the powersteering pump).

that being said, if i had un-necessary $$ i would spend it on other ppl doing the work..... at least there is someone to blame if it goes wrong then :woot:

Vision R in Perth sell a range of Rota Wheels for $999 + $100 delivery, so $1099 delivered, a $550 saving over the link Penny posted:

which include:

That is quite insane .... even if it equates to $1,200 delivered with nuts when I paid $1,600 delivered with nuts direct from Rota. They must be making a loss on them surely. At least they aren't selling MY style wheels at that price, but I am keen on a pair of 10" +12 for the rears of my car to fatten up the stance - wish I could find a pair for $600 delivered!

Pete (SLED) found these if your interested

anyone have stockies with legal tread ?

NEED ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!

I cheked mine today the just look legal but the rears have had skids on them. Your welcome to have a look if you have no luck

i worked out i can get 3 for that price.

Just going some figures..

bumper..$1000 max, assuming its ready for paint.

primer + labour, an hour.. ($100p/h maybe?)

= $1100,

paint in white, then clear coat.. 2 hours?

$400?

= $1500

fitting of bumper..30 minutes?

= $1550

so where the feck is this $3000 coming from? Even if they charged 400 an hour..it wouldnt be close. argh.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
