I am Sorry Peopel ... What I ment by Decent price is around the acceptable range comparing to a same age Ferrari I surpose ...

I am still trying to see what's available out there ... as I have not yet seen any of the Z Tune out for grabs so just asking if anyone saw it?

So ... From the sound of it Iron Chef would be able to source for one under half a Mil ... ^_^

KR4GTR, Thanks for the advise ... like I said I am still in the stage of looking around ... I have waited for years before I can actually say I finally got the Cash sitting in my bank to find the right car since Midnight last night ... Yeah! All my hard work for the past Few years had FINALLY Paid off!

Let us know if you found anything Decent out there ... as I will be buying one to keep forever, I would really like to get a Z Tune there seems to be none around! My second choice is to get one of the V Spec 2 Nur.

I know that Iron Chef (I think Kristian as I was told by my frends) has been busy with all these Import business too is on this Topic, Maybe he can also throwin some suggessions ^_^

I wish everyone on this Topic a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Mate you have to choose how much you want to spend first.

Vspec 2 nur is under a quarter of what a Ztune would cost, you would be able to buy a second hand 360 Fezza and a nur for Ztune money, I would still pic the Z-tune though.

Your choices of cars are a world apart in price and performance.

Had a quick look and I cant see any ztunes which are set to go through auction anytime soon, but as Huy mentioned - there are only a few of them floating around so you'll need to pay the premium.

I did however find these two nurs which are ready to send over, they might interest you. Remember on top of these prices you've still got the regular import / compliance / rego / maintenance costs - etc.

The guy who got me my Nur is in Japan at the moment looking at some cars. He showed me a few Nur's which were still quite pricey. One that stood out was a black Vspec II Nur with just over 5000km on the clock!

lol if someone wants to pay half a mil for a Z-Tune, believe me I will make it happen

I think the high prices being reached by low km Nurs at auction has raised the eyebrows of a few people, so there have been some mint ones going through lately.

Having said that, the end of the year is always a good time to snaffle some bargains - Andrew give me a buzz if you're in the market now. Maybe if your pockets are deep enough, you could buy a V-Spec II N1, they're rarer than Z-Tunes anyway

Hey KR4-GTR,

Found something from Top-Secret if you fancy, but it's a R33 ... ^_^

http://cars.ebay.com.au/1997-Nissan-Skylin...emZ250446291118

Thanks for the previous 2 websites as I already checked them out ... to be Honest, there is one in Sydney which is also around slightly more then getting those 2 imported and complied as shown below:

http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=11EFBDFD5780

Kristian, Thanks for the offer ... I believe owning a Z tune is a DREAM of Most Skyline Owners ... (Ps I am also unfortunately one of them)

Therefore I am looking more towards a Nur instead, I saw one in Bayside Blue in Adelaide, Does it belong to you?

As I am currently Looking around for a Bargain, therefore I will be looking getting one possible lower than a Decent price for a Nur ... If you got any that you felt it More than Value for Money, Please let me know as I am happy to wait as I have no rush looking for my Dream, Ps ... The longer it takes, the longer I have time to Save ... Hopefully getting my own Z Tune ^_^ otherwise snap up a Nur at a Bargain price.

If your looking for a bargain, check out the average condition 99 model vspec at e&m motors for only $70k! :ninja:

I was driving past today, curiosity got the better of me and i couldnt help but pop in to see how much more the exterior has deteriorated from taking the aussie weather 24/7.

Its been sitting outside for over a year and they are still not negotiable on the price. But wait theres more! Only 37000k's and log books to prove it (although when i asked to see the books - they couldnt provide, suprise suprise.)

Theres nothing i hate more than pressure, a very unnecessary sense of urgency and car sales men that wont shut the f**k up and leave you alone while browsing!

I went there ages ago pretending to be interested in that car. Those guys wouldnt leave me alone.

LOL ...

That's what Car Salesman does ... to make you wanna buy the car ...

KR4-GTR

I had seen a few bargains here and there but I am looking at getting a Nur for that Price ... or even lower ... ^_^

Although I must say it's a nice colour ... but I still prefer Bayside Blue

By the way I saw a Bayside Blue Vspec 2 Nur with no. plates CC625P from SA.

Anyone know the Owner?

Keep shopping around and im sure you'll find the car which is right for you :)

By the way, incase you didnt already know / just to clarify - that 33 GTR you showed me is from top secret performance in japan - however, they are actually a seperate company to 'top secret imports' - which is an australian based company specialising in bringing cars over from japan. :)

Go to http://www.topsecretimports.com.au for more info or to see their current stock list. If you want a vspec II or a Nur - that would be a special order.

Give Garry a call and he will look after you, his number is on their site.

thats cool.. when im like 40 something, paid off my house and hopefully have a shit load of cash. your the man im gona come to. i think a z tune and an N1 would be sitting pretty nice in my house :D

though, how rare are R32 n1's and R33 n1's?

Our uncle - wife side - owns the last of the Nur Spec II in the green. Over 60 years old, hardly ever drives it and probably looking to sell it soon. If anyone here is seriously interested in an immaculate, low kms one, please let me know. I am sure he is going to change again - before this, he had the original Vspec in bayside blue.

Fantastic thread. Some great reading and advice all in the one place.

I will be heading back to top secret imports to have a second look at a few cars within the next few days. ;)

Not quite as rare as the 34s but still very rare - 228 R32 N1s built and somewhere around 98 R33 N1s built.

How often do you see R32 N1s Kristian? Eventually when i'm in the market for a 32 GT-R, i'll be looking for an N1 (or V-Spec II)

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
    • OK, next the shroud needs to come off and there are a couple of tricks. Firstly, there is a loom from near the passenger side headlight to the fans, coolant temp sensor etc and there is no plug to undo.  In my case I was OK to leave the shroud on top of the engine so I just undid the passenger side fan plug and about 10 of the clips which gave enough free wire to put it aside. The fan plugs were super tight, the trick I used was a small falt screwdriver to push down on the release tab, then a larger flat screwdriver to lever the plug out of the fan unit....be careful with how much force you apply! If you need to remove the shroud altogether for some reason you will have to deal with all the plugs (tight) and clips (brittle)....good luck. I removed all of the clips and replaced them with cable ties that I will just cut next time. Also, in the Red Sport / 400R at least, the intake heat exchanger reservoir hose is bolted to the shroud in 2 places with 10mm headed bolts; so remove them (the hose stays in the car; no need to undo it at the t fittings down at the radiator lower mount. Once you've dealt with the HX hose and the wiring loom, there are 3x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the shroud to the radiator; remove those.   The shroud then lifts out of the bottom mounts where it sits on the radiator, up and onto the engine out of the way. Simples
