Skyline R 33 Clutch

hey guys i have a r33 gts t that has a stuffed clutch it slips in 5th and 4th apparantly they put a heavy duty clutch in it before i bought it ? would leaking crank shaft seal cause it to slip ?

has anyone heard of rpm clutches ? are they good

i have aftermarket comp 3 '' exhaust 12 pound of boost i dont wana spend a fortune on a clutch i also have 265 tires on back with soft tyres

If the bellhousing is full of oil then yeah its possible its getting on the clutch plate and causing it to slip.

Stock clutch should be ok with an uprated pressure plate if you dont want to spend lots.

How odd that it only slips in the taller gears...

Perhaps speed related, forces the oil onto the clutch plate/flywheel?

Id say its because theres more load on it in higher gears, requiring more torque. And its the torque that'd make it slip.
