Ok this is where i get the count for the timing gear;

BIT SUS

Krishy

So we need 5 more for it to be viable.

If you want to hire the timing gear for $42 let me know.

and can i also be added to the list, along with Josh and heslo's + 1 (he's gay), and heslo also said he may put in the money if need be to make up the last person and he will use it in conjunction with his own timing gear

cheers Bengi

sure it cant be that hard to get 5 more people out of the ones coming out on the day lol

yeah should be pretty easy, to get a few more.

Its just amazing how quickly this track day is adding up again, especially since my car is nowhere near ready, and still got more parts to aquire

i still have to

-fit coilovers

-fit front brake upgrade

-flush & bleed brakes

-get new tyres

-get exhaust made

-raise boost

-change oil, filter

-make new seat mounts

and there is probably more as well, problem is hoists have been full for the past three weeks, and everytime i made room, another job got booked in :)

lol. benji, need a working bee or something before the track day.

yeah, word on the street is that your coming down here to do it all for me...or else we aint coming to pick you up on track day morning lol

lol. drop it round my place next monday. got most of the week off, get the coils*, brakes, and oil/filter change tackled.

*just dont expect to adjust heights. im way too f**kin lazy.

stupid r31's. ill have a look. what have you got for the front end exactly? s13 lcas? standard knuckles? a31 rotors im guessing?

Edited by scandyflick
rear coils, just use the top hats from the rear struts in there at the moment :)

yeah thats prob what i was gonna end up doing. seemed like an easier option, and its not like it matters what top is on there as they aren't adjustable up top anyway.

Cheers Bengi

with the rest of the money for this track day that i owe can i pay that on the day? or pay beforehand?

cars slowly coming along

gauges to be paid for and sent

wiring to be finished hopefully this weekend

tyres to be fitted to rims

fit oil cooler

fit new brake pads and bleed system

fit 5 stud conversion

pump the shit outta the guards

get it tuned and wheel alinged

list is getting much easier as time goes by

still gonna be tight gettn it all ready in time but we will manage

writeoff and myself could run seperate timing gear units if the numbers are needed for the package deal.

there is no issue/worries in that.

with me, Im not sure what car to bring. Im real sore due to no-kneeness; cant do much. just a brake pad change ruins me.

the stagea is all good and can drive there and back & have a great day out. have spare pads for the day; easy no-nonsense dayout.

however Id like to run the r32 rb26 sedan that I bought specifically for track days. in lieu of riding motorbikes.

the sedan has new highflowed turbos, champion gold plugs, Penrite 5-50 synthetic oil, greddy oil filter, yellowjacket coilpacks, siemens denso 550cc injectors,

power-fc, 5zigen 3" catback exhaust, new radiator silicon hoses with 52mm dual-core race radiator, turbotech boost controller

ku36 235/17 tyres with qfm a1rm brake pads & slotted rotors/braided lines up front, good 5spd rb40 box & singlepuck clutch,

tein coilover suspension with full greddy strutbars front and rear, race wheel & seat, wideband meter, boost meter, stripped interior

a fuel surge tank and 305lph walbro external pump is being setup early april at boostwerx along with full pfc tune.

roll cage wont be finished/installed. permit needed to get to/from tuners & trackday.

not much more I need to do. rebleed the brakelines so that rules out 3 upcoming days, cleanup the interior a little,

get bits finished here and there. trying to get it ready minus the roll cage setup plus a few other goodies coming from japan, but too sore to go full-bore at the project.

...... we'll see.

cage I won for $155 plus container setrate of $400.

aaacage.jpg

wheels for $45, free shipping due to container space

anew2.jpg

free shipping so why not some $250 cams

acam1.jpg

hmm, bride drivers seat and passengers bride seat rail, $200

that'll go well with my bride drivers seat rail, the shit chair there atm can be for passengers

plus a few oddsnends for cheap, little bits here and there, . . . . :)

eventually I want to get an rb26 powerglide auto adapter, power glide Auto-Transmission kit, custom fitting to the Stagea, 3k.

Im going to rebuild the rb26, drop it into the stagea with a 3spd auto trans full manual valvebody . . . and sell the sedan and the current stag engine package

12k in costs all up for complete rb26 rebuild, installed & custom stag auto transmission, but should be able to net back 8k from sales =)

    • I thought I'd come back and add something I JUST learned. A Toyota LandCruiser with a 1HZ, mates perfectly with a bottle of Nulon brake fluid. As in, it perfectly screws in. Great make shift funnel when you cut the bottom of it off. This may work for your Corolla.   Unfortunately, tipping a 10L drum is much harder than a 4 to 6L bottle, and they no longer include the easy pour tap which was just perfection to use previously.
    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
    • Funny, but really not funny. Thank god (most) f the world has moved on since then
    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile
