well got myself a 1989 r32 shell back in october 09. has basically everything minus engine and diff. in a few months i will be hopefully be getting a 1jz-gte installed by nizzpro performance.

http://www.nizzproperformance.com.au/conversions.html (top right)

after a little bit of research, i decided this was the route i wanted to take, and found a shell that had basically everything minus what is included in this package.

***pics soon***

mods that i am planning to install to get the car running:

HSD - HR Type Coilovers http://www.otomoto.com.au/HDSystems/hrseries.htm

KAAZ L.S.D - Basic - 1.5 Way http://www.slidingperformance.com/store/in...mp;productid=74

future mods that aren't so important:

- haven't decided yet, but either 17" or 18" wheels with a decent offset

- comfy bucket seats for driver and passenger

- gauges, boost controller etc.

- upgraded brakes (rotors, pads and brake lines)

iv been looking around at different brakes, ecu's, coilovers and gauges and decided on the following:

dba slotted rotors, hawk hps performance pads, goodridge braided brake lines, tien super street coilovers, defi gauges and a kaaz lsd (probably a 2way).

after i while of getting used to the car il be upgrading to a microtech ecu with hand controller, aluminium radiator and some 17" rims.

God damn a 1J in there will be pretty crazy to drive I reckon. They go good in a fat arse soarer imagine it with only 1250 kgs to push!

Just out of intrest sake do you know what your 1J weighs?? and is it VVTI?

Cheers.

-put on a T70 turbo

    • Unless you're fortunate enough to buy a newer car, getting an older style plate to match your name/car is difficult because they've already been purchased.  Unlike other countries, personalised plates are locked to the country and not region, so there can't be multiple versions of the same plate but with a different area code.  Hope that helps

    • That's why I said it is a meaningless term. Because there is more than one meaning that people can apply to it. When we said "highflow", that is exactly what we mean, and exactly what is done. In a highflow, they take your housing and machine them out to take bigger wheels, have a better internal profile, etc etc, and fit a new core with the different/better/bigger wheels.
