Dude I was actually thinking about posting a Mr Burns picture when I said excellent haha.

Nah not a train station. Just like a train carriage covered in graffiti or something. I dunno exactly because I havn't been there yet but I've seen a couple of cars having their photos taken there and it looks good.

ahh even better! been looking at doing something like that. I think it was Matboy in the photo threads did a shoot with a blue (?) R34 with a grafittied background and bought out all the colours in the grafitti and it looks amazing. He is alot more skilled then me but haha, but I'll give it a crack

Nikkon?

Personally I think the canons are alot Easier to get used to. I have a 550D. Depends how serious you want to get and how much you know about cameras. Nikons arent a bad camera at all just think there a bit harder to get used to

Yeah a Nikon. Not full on serious but i would like to be able to take some good photos. From what ive researched the d3100 is the better camera to start with. Just trying to find some personal experience.

I have only used a nikkon once and found it harder then the canon. But maybe it was just cause I'm used to the canon.

550D's are cheap now cause there going out of production. Twin lense kitt with IS was what I got.

Well now I'm at a computer and can type, Ill say the one thing I didnt like when I used a Nikon was that they dont show a preview of the image with your settings on the screen (when you turn viewfinder view on)

My Canon I can switch to viewfinder mode and adjust my major settings till I'm happy with how the light and depth of the photo are

The Nikon I tried to do the same and it just kep the image that it saw, without altering the image in the viewfinder with changes to the settings (If this makes sense)

That was an older Nikon, probably 4 or so years old now so they might not do this anymore. Its more personal preference, I know lots of people using Nikon's and they like them and they take good photos. but I like the layout on the Canon's, they way they are set out etc.

Only way to find out is to use as many different SLR's you can get your hands on, I went straight for Canon but that doesnt make me right :)

Poor Phil

Has to organise everything :P

Something is in the works, just have to work out some dates. I will have to do something about that........

hey cal i spoke to rob a few weeks ago about doing a big cruise next year.

plan is for us townsville boys to come down meet up and go to the drags and have an sau drag night then party that night in mackay then cruise to airlie the next day and party there again.

i am looking to do it over a long weekend that leads into a monday.

is anyone interested in going down for either powercruise or jambo next year? as i am going to have a heap of holidays when i get back.

Ok I'll organise it. You guys all rock up at my place one night and I will plan which way we drive down to the breakwater :P

Did you buy a sexyline?

that'll be the best cruise ever :rofl2:

from the photo's i have seen of it, its very sexy

Will try and organize a cruise to townsville late This year anyway. Rob told me that Rob (see what I did there) won't be in townsville (or isn't in Townsville now) but I'm not sure what dates these are...... Obviously lol :S

    • Yes I can see how that would put you off HFM, especially with the price of good quality brake fluid. From what I understand it as you say the BM50 is the standard BMC for a R32 GTR, I must admit I would like to go far a Genuine Nissan BM57, but lack of cash prevents that at present. With the price being so close between the genuine BM50 and BM57 a BM57 New it seems a better choice as you gain that 1/16 bore size with the BM57, I would be interested in how much difference you feel with the BM57 fitted. I am going to take SteveL's advice in the short term and see how much actually comes out of that proportioning valve vent and save up for the Genuine Nissan part. Thanks for clarifying the HFM failure
    • Thanks mate. I just got the post inspection 1/2 done from state roads when the starter motor packed up, either that or the car alarm system is having trouble.  OEM part number 23300-AA112.
    • Hi, I though I was coming to an end in finding a replacement starter motor for a rb25de neo. I came across a starter motor from Taarks and a message below stating: Direct fit. 11 Tooth count. All below part numbers have been superseded to 11 teeth. Can some body shed some light on going from 8 teeth to 11 teeth apart from 36-month / 25,000 km warranty for passenger vehicles to 12 Month Warranty. Compatible with the following Nissan part numbers: 23300-20P00 23300-20P01 23300-20P05 23300-20P10 23300-20P11 23300-AA111 23300-AA112 23300-AA300 23300-08U10 23300-08U11 23300-08U15
    • Low battery? Maybe check capacity? I know first-hand, on BMWs if your battery drops below 80% capacity, it starts causing strange issues.
    • 8.5 +37 = should fit rear, but I think it'll hit on front. What you want is low 30s/high 20's front, mid 30's rear. That 17" screenshot you posted looks good, I'd run it on my R32 (but that's long dead now). For tyre sizes, my rule of thumb is: 8': 235, 9": 255. But that's just my opinion. Nismo sizes: 18x8.5+35/18x9.5+38 is a good starting point.
