R33 Gtr Vspec Qtr Mile 12.771 Stock

Hello,

i was just watching some dvd's and i saw this stock GTR Vspec doing 12.771 witha pro driver.

it ahd no exhaust system nothing fully stock..

Whats up with this ?

The car could have some mods, as it doesent say anything about it being stock or not. Have u seen the one with the GTR and the Mclaren f1??

i have never ever seen a stock GTR doing12.7 or 12.8 . and dont forget this is a r33 , the driver must be a real time gtr professional driver

r33 is like 13.1 or something. not 12.7

The japs always seem to be able to screw a few tenths more out of their test cars.

The EVO 6.5 runs like 12.8s in Jap reviews but OZ times are a few tenths off it, just like the GTR times.

Could it have something to do with the low ambient temps (sub 10degC) and higher octane fules and subsequent Jap ECUs???? Plus they may test cars with driver only and empty fuel tanks where OZ car mags seem to go driver/passenger, half tank gas and all their correvit timing gear floating around in the car?

I have a number of vids that Show the gtr r32 and r33 run 12 Sec passes STANDARD...The video is a GTR Special Edition by Best motoring They show comparisons between all the model GTRS (r32,r33,r34)

a guy on these forums from adel has a stockish 32 GTR which has done 12.4 at AIR.

I think only mods are airfilters. STANDARD EVERYTHIN ELSE.
