Nah, still being slack.. :-/ Previous experience is that it's pretty empty on cold wet days

I love the Lyrebird track, part of its charm is the gravel at the beginning then the smoothness of most of the rest of the track which often results in muddy tracks when it rains, it just adds to the fun when you slip and fall on your ass! Love going down the steep parts of it too, hope they keep that the way it is now. Anyone know if they'll be adding steps to the entirety of the track or just parts of it? :S

But on the positive side, having an alternative 1000 steps will be great. The 1000 steps usually get way too crowded to have a great run on a nice day, so this will definitely ease the pressure

If anybody is still going up there, I'm keen to jump in and go for a run
