I'm there a bit but usually take Lyrebird track up the side... harder workout. And if you don't go all the way up to one tree hill then you're cheating

But never take my skyline... the retractable spikes on the way out scrape the bottom of the car! :)

I'm keen to do it, if anyone is heading up there let me know and I'll try to be there when you are.

I spoke to this park ranger dude there once and he was saying it's not even 1000 steps...It's only like around 700.....

776 steps, yep I've counted them once

I went on Saturday, first time there! The spikes on the way out had me worried but I just managed to clear it! :(

Keen on going back to improve my time taken to get up, took me 12 mins but I was buggered when I got to the top haha. Gotta get in to fitness mode now!

Where to where? Everyone probably measures differently :(

I measure from the archway in the carpark to the bench at the top of the steps.

Hmm bump, can someone organise another day for this? I noticed the April event didn't happen? I am heading up on Monday if anyone would like to join me!

If any of you junkies are keen on a challege, then maybe have a look at this:

My club is hosting the State Mountain Running Championship at the 1000 steps (although it runs up the side).
