Hi! Does anybody have, or know where can I download bases for nissan FAST program with informatoin about C210, C211? All, that i'm able to find is bases on this page http://xenons30.com/reference.html. But, unfortunately, the oldest skyline in them is R30 :(

So, I'm asking for help! Not only for me, but for many old skyline's owners in Russia.

nissan dealerships have PDF files of every datsun, scanned/copied from the old ohp style cards

Well my Nissan dealers merged into Motors, and the last 2 time I went to buy something for my C110, I had to supply the part number, or find the part on a 280Z (gear shift pin bushes), since they didn't have my car.

now tell me how crappy that is.

a copy off the Nissan fast would be handy, I'm sure some one got a copy.

Hi,

I went to a local Nissan dealer a few months ago. The computer-based catalog went back as far as R31's and they had to use microfiche to find R30 part numbers.

Our dealers have no interests to supply old nissan's owners. I've been thinking about writting a letter to headquarter in Japan, but did not find any contact's.

As said before, here is my skyline as it looks in autumn 2009 90817d7884ac.jpg

Here you can see how does he looks when i bought this car in november 2007

I have got a copy of the Nissan FAST, it goes back to the R30 and thats it.

But there is a program called E_FAST in the install that it ment to do Pre '79 cars, but I can't get the thing to work though :D

I'm not to impressed with the Nissan FAST program, the Toyota version is loads easier to use!

I have E-FAST, download from http://xenons30.com/reference.html. Only a very few amount of models is described there. And, of course, without C210-C211 bodies :D

Here is screenshot of E-FAST models database

Will give the E_FAST a go from there and see If I can get it to work with my files etc...

Socrates I can't PM you back as I don't have a high enough post count to do so.

The K in my name refers to my car beeing a Coupe/Hardtop, where as you not having a K or a V means you have a saloon/sedan car, ie 4 door but not an estate.

The M which is present in both out chassis codes mean we are running the L24 engine, if it was a P instead it would mean you would have a 4cyl L18

The G in our Chassis codes refer to them beeing LWB, if G is missing it means the car is SWB.

You can only have certain combinations though.

For example you can only have a LWB 2 Door Coupe and it has to be 6cyl either 2L or 2.4L like in the AU / UK cars.

You can only have a short wheel base Estate and it has to be 4cyl as there isnt the space for a 6cyl engine.

Hope that helps

Now that I have a better understanding of how it all works regarding FAST / E-FAST there seems to be some cd's just for old cars. So until we find them we cant get part numbers for the C110 or C210 etc.

I have had a look through all the CD's that I have an non have old car part numbers bar that one CD from the S30 website which is Yankie doodle only.

    • I wasn’t able to replicate the sound anymore. It was a one time sound so maybe it was just coincidence but it was like small pebbles being dropped in a coke can.   should I try cleaning the MAF? It could be it’s functioning but dirty? I don’t know.
    • Update 4: Hi all. The car drives again! Haven't driven for long, only to store it in the garage again, but the test drive was successful. The coolant and oil leaks seem to be fixed for now. Temps on the engine were also very good, while moving I never even saw 80C water during the approx. 30 minute drive. Ate up all the coolant in the reservoir though so will have to fill that even more when I go to the car next time. One thing that pisses me off is that the RPM gauge is still f**ked, I even resoldered the board twice and used copper paste on the silly screws that are used as connections. Next time I take it out I'll take apart the board and fit new components, I'll see if I can get a replacement IC for it.  I have an appointment set for 22nd of September for the engine tune to 370hp. Alignment also still needs to be done. My hope is that I can get all the legal stuff over with by the end of this season. Anyone of you have advice regarding intercoolers? Currently there is an APEXI core fitted, one of those weird hybrid ones, 600x270x76. I don't think it's bad but it's not new and now I still have the chance to change it now to legally include it in the paperwork. Only issue is that the only options that would arrive in time are a HKS Type R intercooler or generic Ebay spec intercoolers comparable to a JustJap one. Ideally I'd order a Plazmaman but it takes over a month to receive which would mean making the car legal has to wait until next season. Would love to hear some input on this. Same story for my injectors, the previous owner was a nunce and put ID 1050x on the engine. They work but are obviously not ideal at "normal" power levels. But I don't see a reason to change them unless the tuner says it's necessary. I read online before buying a different exhaust that the top secret style rear diffusers won't fit due to the size of the rear resonators. My buddy and I made it work by slightly "adjusting the shape" of the mounting bracket and making some spacers out of 3d print for the mounting bolts. Fits like a charm. Just putting this here in case someone has this problem. Even the hefty HKS Silent Hi Power rear can fits without hitting anything.
    • Well they got my money but they are not getting my gearbox !
    • It's needed for rolling idle up, and I think it is a decider on VCT also.
    • I mean, not really. Link ECU's can absolutely still have errors from the ECU thinking it's getting a sensor it's not expecting. I would imagine the speed at the ECU level in Nistune does absolutely nothing anyway? I assume the ECU does not do any fancy TC stuff with regards to front+rear wheel speed or anything of that like anyway. Someone who uses Nistune may be more fluent in it.
