I am very careful and everything has been done for a reason. I have receipts for some things.

I have been honest with the cars condition. Pictures dont do the car justice.

Im selling because I dont get the chance to drive the car very much as i have a company car and a motorbike.

Im after $9000 cash or swap for p plater cruiser motorbike plus cash my way.

RB30DET engine built by qualified mechanic and ROTORBISHI owner/builder

Is the car engineered and registered with the RB30DET?

Does anyone know if one should expect much trouble from VicRoads bringing a car of this spec to Melbourne? Can you legally register an R32 with RB30DET in Victoria?

its not engineered yet, however i built it with the intention to engineer it so it should be pretty straight forward. Infact i may get it done if the buyer pays the original $9000

Just go to Vicroads, get a engine transfer form and state the new engine No. No certificate required

please note there is nothing actually wrong with the automatic transmission, it has been noted that it 'slips', it is only detectable on the dyno by looking at the numbers, to put it simply, a brand new gearbox behind this engine would do the same thing..... car is still for sale, i am neg on price, need to pay off the home loan.

actually you need engineets cert as the car never came with that specfic engine

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
