I'm swaying to Bridies... think from 2.00pm onwards?

Have left a message with some guy there about reserving a table. I'd like to get a better idea of numbers though... Will add a poll.

What do people think? Good place/time/plan?

you are all a bunch of fkn skanks.....SHAME ON YOU GUYS FOR NOT TURNING UP!!!

Sorry!

I got into a spot of bother Sat night... I've got the battle wounds to prove it. :D

And i've no-longer got a mobile too either as i lost it

otherwise i would have called people cause i dont rmember anyones number!

Well. Well. Well.

Team SAU VIC - Me, Snowman, Horus and Funky.

Where was everyone? Sure - we drank enough to make up for it... but jeeze guys.

It's not like this was a surprise event. No-one even called

We were there from 2.00pm to 11.00pm - so no-one can say 'you must have left'.

Shame.

I know its not a great excuse but I couldnt walk or drive on sunday due to alcohol consumption the night before [brother-in-law's 30th b'day]...

I did say I had b'day's on last weekend and thus didnt guarantee my presence well before the event...but I would have, should I have needed another drink that is :)

if thats too confusing then try this :) :)

    • I also used Knox driveshafts when I the slip yoke T56 to the 3bolted TR6060 type. I believe I was one of his first jobs as it literally changed hands when I was there, started by the old owner and finished by the new. Everyone seemed pretty great about it. So wasn't shy/seemed pretty knowledgeable when dealing with weird custom people like me.
    • Just a reminder orange park was cool back in the day   and drifting the main circuit was even cooler   f**k I miss that car
    • We used Knox Drive shafts years ago when we were doing gravel rally, good guy but I heard it had changed hands? He's got a lot of stuff and is miles cheaper than GJ and so on. He used to have a lathe setup with a MIG torch on the tool holder so he could get the uni welds just right, quite a clever guy. I just got a driveshaft done for my sequential installation and that was through Balancing Services Australia in Preston, they did the Gibson cars in the old days. New genuine CV's, billet yoke, new centre bearing and chome moly shaft was $2k.
    • Thanks for sharing that mate, I've got a couple of spares on the shelf but all the unis are tight....will give old mate a shout. BTW are you sure it wasn't just a $400 paint job? Any detail of what they replaced (cut/reweld?)
    • Yeah I saw that about the US Q50 recently, apparently it was shown to Inifiniti dealers (probably to help with their depression about the cars they can sell). Seemed like a really obvious step to me, the platforms are very similar in many ways. Even if there aren't many people who actually put the money up it should really help with image/reputation. What hasn't been clear anywhere if that is a V38 model of if they are just going to add the trans as an option in a new model year. What they did with the Z from 370z to "Z" is just weird so I'd be surprised if they released this as a V38. Great news for me to have an option; it is far from confirmed that I can get any decent track sessions through the auto so having a manual I can swap to is great.
