f**k yeah.

Gran Turismo in your garage.

Thanks dimi108 ! :)

The 5-step sequence to happy relationships goes like this...

1) shop for your mod

2) put a deposit on it

3) look for something nice for your G/F

4) one the eve of picking up your mod, seal the deal by giving your G/F that little something nice

5) next day, pay for & pick up your mod

LOL

Hehe... To Ric & Garland,

True story:- A young lady reporter for the St George Leader noticed a very old couple waddling up the street hand-in-hand after buying their groceries in Kogarah. The husband had a full bag in his left hand whilst his wife held hers in her right. They looked inseparable - so the reporter ran up to them with the proposal to do a 'feel-good' story.

The man turned and said, "Look lady, it's like this; I learned 30 years ago that if I let go of her hand, she starts to go shopping."

Moral:- Since time immemorial, Girls luuuuuuv gifts and shopping.

LOL

From a man's perspective - guilt gifts are common.

LOL

At the time of giving though, we'd like her to think we're thoughtful.

LOL

HAHAHAHHAHA That's a funny story. But that wouldn't stop my girlfriend from spending. LOL she would either drag me along or twist my hand until I let go :)

And very TRUE on the thoughtfulness !!!! :)

Would it help reversing into that driveway?

PS: Congrats :)

Thanks Morgs! I haven't tried reversing it in, only because I live on a main road and its nearly impossible for me to do so

LOL my house is full against me !

Looks nice man!

The spacers really helped out the offset of the wheels and made it look tuff!

You could go more low :ermm:

About an inch or so.

Thank mate! Yeah the 20mm spacers really bought it out

I'm still considering getting standard suspension for it as it's too low for my garage. But guess I could always save up for some coilovers lol.

Very nice Garland! Congratulations mate :D

Thank you Ben!

Do you mind telling how much you paid for it

Very Nice clean car...

Thanks Kushil!

^^ Get Full Adjustable Coil Overs, that will do the trick!

:)

What you suspension you got in at the moment?

That's a good idea, I'm seriously considering it at the moment, thanks!

Right now it has Bilstein shocks with lowered springs. I'm guessing they are not the standard issue with V-Specs?

 NICE! A little bit out of my price range at the moment but they look absolutely AWESOME!!

wow what a beauty!!

Thanks Dean!

Yeah, they are aftermarket.

So you'd would have check to see if they are adjustable...

Any decent Japanese Or European brand will do.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately they are not adjustable in any way :(

Yeah I'll probably stick with the Japanese brands :)

Finally got the new wheels on today. Limited Edition Rays Engineering Nismo LMGT-4 with GT500 centre caps in gunmetal gloss. These were purchased from a fellow SAU member, tangomatt who owns the inspirational R34 GTR Nur Spec RB28 VCam.

Sorry about the pics. I'll take some better ones after the rain stops and the car has had its wash :P

Also changed over the Nismo clear indicators to Nismo Smoked indicators and covered the GReddy FMIC with mesh.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
