Hi Guys,

Just curious as to what cat people would recommend for my Kakimoto cat back exhaust on an M35?

After a quick browse I noticed a lot of the high flow metal cats come in 3 or 3.5" Considering my exhaust is actually 3.15" should I be going for the 3.5 so I dont create a bottle neck? or will that be a completely different flange size?

I will be getting dump and front pipe done at the same time.

Cheers,

Ben.

3 inch should be fine, aren't the flanges 3 inch anyway?

Its only 1.5mm per side bigger, just sand the lip down to make it a smooth entry. You could also cut the cat back a bit to match the size.

The 3.5 inch cats are the same as 3 inch ones internally.

Have you thought about the Kakimoto front pipe? Is 80mm (3.15") and would match up with your Kaki cat-back nicely

I have one on mine :(

What's a cat....only good cat is a dead cat

:P
