If you have a series 2 Dayz front bar, do not give it away

They are VERY sort after and worth as much as new dolphin copy bar

I would not sell the front bar for less than $500

Side $200 pair

Rear $200-300

like the title says just wanted to know how much a full days kit is worth as i've been thinking of selling ti to get a dolphin kit

( mabe adam lol)

Sell your dayz kit and buy my S2 Abflug kit so i can continue with my build, lol. :ermm:

Alot of people have a masa or dolphin kit. I have not seen another abflug kit in Oz. Imho it is the best out there apart from a Takeros. Rare as fark, great quality, dardy and unique. Pm if interested.

abflug always make 'interesting' kits

not my cup of tea but quality is fantastic. at least with genuine you know it's going to fit nice the first time, like my dolphin kit ;)

genuine FTW

Trawl the jap auctions and you will find dayz stuff pretty cheap atm for a good price.

Yeah mikey stick to wheels mate thats where you have style, lol. I better not hijack this thread anymore. If anyone is interested pm. cheers.

haha, i don't reckon josh would care if we whore his thread

you're selling the abflug kit cos you got an s2 kit instead of s1? why not just sell the front bar and keep the sides and rear for your car then buy a takeros front to match up with them? that could look pretty nice IMO

I would if i could. Moneys needed elsewhere. ;)

just looked at my receipts for dayz front and rear kr4 sonic silver.

imported total cost was $799 ($1=75.01¥) for the front bar and $613 ($1=71¥) for the rear,

sometime last year, got them at separate times. saw dayz, wanted dayz, cost was no concern.

yen good at the moment if you want to import something $1=86.9¥

You guys can check out this site for the stagea bodykits:

http://www.blitsbodykits.com.au/nissan.html

i've never dealt with that company, but as always, copies can cost you ALOT more in the long run getting them of a decent fit and finish quality - just ask darrinspencer about his fun with his copy masa kit :(

i will buy the front bar and rear bumper lip as long as the paint is good.

i have a dayz front bar already but it's black (still.....) and my car is white. also have a silver rear dayz bumper lip that needs some repair but once again, not white.

would rather buy them already painted white than have to stuff around matching the paint.

pm me if you decide to sell, i have cash waiting. i will take them as soon as you want.

will have a black front bar and a rear lip for sale for anyone interested if i can get these ones too.

D.

Hey guys,

If anyone is interested i have a full dolphin style kit from blits bodykits sitting in my shed at the moment, its the full kit to suit a series one stag, front bar, rear bar, side skirts and the rear wing, its all brand new and never been fitted, I've had it for about 6 months now and haven't had the time to do anything with it, if anyone is interested in taking it off my hands then give me a yell on 0403 737 165 and make an offer! Im located on the north side of adelaide.

I also have a standard issue rear wing sitting there aswell if anyone is keen on that.

Cheers

Ben

    • The HG high flow is excellent, and costs about the $$ you're talking about. But it, and probably every other highflow, uses a diffeent core than the original turo, and the original Hitatchi core is quite long. So, I think it is inevitable that there is likely no such thing as a highflow that just "bolts on" with no other effort required. And the same is likely true for HG's outright replacement "bolt on" turbos (the ATR things). And the same is likely true for anything similar from elsewhere. I have no idea if the cheap Chinese/Taiwanese complete turbos from eBay/Temu/etc are as bolt on as they claim. I mean, they claim the bolt onto the NAs as well as the turbos, and we know that can't be "bolt on". But it wouldn't matter because I'm not buying a $169 4 psi turbo for anything other than a paddock basher.
    • Bummer...yeah i "need" something to "ease" up the work and for my driving it would be enough.    Iam counting the tune "without" turbo. I do not mean "cheap" like something from Temu around 200 USD, "Cheap" is something around 1000 USD?
    • Starter motors used to use the weight of metal (magnets) to provide torque. Now they use (more) current instead. This. It's completely normal.
    • So thing that had me stumped, but I think is OK....is that when it was up in the air, in neutral I had it running to bleed to coolant while I put the wheels back on. I noticed the rears were turning (slowly) which I'd never seen before 20250928_163512.mp4     Because there had been an issue with clutch slip due to pedal adjustment on the dyno, I assumed there was still and issue so spent some quality time upside down under the dash adjusting the pedal....but no matter what I did the wheels still turned in neutral. Even disconnected the master cylinder to pedal rod and same. In despair, I even removed the clutch slave so there was no chance of any preload causing it.....still happened. So either: 1. Something is not right in the bellhousing, or 2. Its a thing sometimes with cold, thick gearbox oil Internet says it might be 2, I hope so!
    • OK, few more things sorted and it is ready for a shakedown on 10-Oct, with one weird thing. Changed the run in oil and filter for the good stuff. 8l came out, about 8.5 went in with filter so that looks all good. Changed the starter (again), this time for a brand new one, works good. Interesting that the Taaaarks one is shorter than factory but spins harder, I guess electronics have moved on a little in the last 30 years. Will be nice to have a bit of extra space under there. Put the timing cover back on, and noted where the cam gears were set as a record.  Will need to double check the timing but it is pretty close. Also put the coil pack cover and intake snorkel back on. Exhaust Inlet Changed the water out for coolant, bled up nicely. Removed the rear brake pads (well worn factory sumitomo ones!), gave the hardware a good clean and reassembled. I've put bendix XP on the back again because the price is excellent at $150 a set and they worked well on the V37. Front pads have plenty so no issue there
