I really dont think its needs a complete forum in all honesty.

The one on ns is nothing short of a complete flop, with posts rarely being made in it.

I m all for supporting chicks in the scene but to then segment themselves off again I dont think is a good thing.

Could it be possible that without the digging and bitching from the male contingent its not quite the same? :D

CASS we drove past you...twice. Ah if only I has of put 2 and 2 together. Ah well next time I'll stalk you on facebook instead. :)

Well it could be created and then quite simply if the boys get in there and whore it up you all take a week holiday.

Knowing some of you simply couldn't resist though makes it a kinda pointless threat...

Next time you lot misbehave this badly I'm gonna get angry. And then bad shit happens.

Keep threads clean and on topic.

Also - use the "report post" button, if im busy @ work i dont check all sections unless i get reports etc.

Could have cleaned this up last week if i knew.

I wonder how we work out the entry requirements and vett people... Could be both interesting and dangerous! :P

Either way rather hard to work out overall unfortunately

i got an idea ash, we should do it like the 300zx forums style. when you sign up on the forum someone from the forum has to go to the house to verify they own a 300. same thing for when a female signs up someone has to go to there house and check that there a female just so we get no guys pretending to be a chick :D ..you can nominate me for that if you want :(

bahahhaha

prob the only funny thing thats been said in this thread LOL

But yeah I thought i had reported a post in here...:S maybe it didnt go through?!

I think charlie may be talking about vic as in vic imports club, not vic in sau, am i right?? From my 5 seconds on here so far i find it hard to see any way a girls section on sau could be controlled lol

lol james :(

Maybe just a thread, doesn't really have to be locked, it's not as if we're going to be gossiping about guys in there or talking about stuff that's /really/ so interesting. Probably just about clothes and coffee conversation :P Am I being too off topic for this thread? :D

LOL WTF..

no seriously...WTF???

NS have done it that way for ages now....guys caught posting in the chicks bit get a holiday. They still do, but sadly the chicks dont anymore.

Cass I'll try not to, I mean you do have a gtr :P

Whinge whinge...

Fernwood this, equal rights that...

Nuff said.

Girls only section is nearly impossible to govern. So why don't we try a girls sub-section and call it that, instead of calling it a girls ONLY section which just tempts people to troll it. I think you'll find most of the reason this thread received so much attention and posts from guys is because it says "Girls Only".

If it doesn't work, you delete the section...how hard is that?

i have a broken GTR ;) i still limp it to work in Burwood every day tho, cuz im a nasty girl to my car! sometimes. getting it fixed soon tho trying to get quotes on parts atm.

Well if SAU does this, then it is up to you girls to use it as much as you want.

:)

EDIT:

i have a broken GTR  i still limp it to work in Burwood every day tho, cuz im a nasty girl! sometimes. getting it fixed soon tho.

Theres no fixing that, and why would you want to :P

well...breakING...im losing my tierod ends, my steering is shot. theyll be fixed in the next 2 weeks tho...o2 sensors still stuffed but theyre being switched out next week. who knows where we go from there :(

I feel like im driving on my own personal gtr-sized balloon under my wheels. its becoming a struggle to keep it straight. Add to that the fact that one of my 'standard diffs likes to impersonate kris'2 way at times is a little scary.

clunk clunk clunk :D

yeah all just money unfortunately danielle...difficult to buy parts when im up for rego and insurance for it on the same day...in early june and had completely forgotten...and paying rent on top. sigh  u do what u can tho. tax time might be niiiice. might have a boost controller soon

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
