Same idiots that delayed the anti suicide barriers on the West Gate and Bolte bridges.

There are other options... They will just jump in front of trains and shut down the lines.

Or off a cliff.

To those who say it is to stop babys being thrown off- same things apply. Or they can be hammertossed or what ever its called.

Where there is a will to do something in a psychotic mind, it will happen, and no amount of tax payer money will stop it apart from improving our mental health system in this state!

Put barriers on bridges, make bridges stronger to carry the barriers OR, pour money into the health system and up-to-date early detection methods and campaigns for the public and GP's.

Agree/Disagree?

+1 for conscription for the little flamin mongrels, they need the discipline.

http://www.theage.com.au/national/social-w...00518-vc7r.html prevention is better than a bandaid. why not do both and not waste money on the bridges?

Lol, its my opinion that conscription does nothing for discipline anyway. They'll be disciplined infront of their sergeants/officers, but then out of camp, they'll be the same stupid shits.

Back in the singapore army, i was disciplined when my men were around, i had to be, but then when i was with my fellow sergeants, we were still doing stupid shit.

So, it doesn't really help, but i'm awesome with the M16 and SAR21, at least when it comes to dismantling and reassembling.

Well, but if they were sent into combat zones, now, they'd have to grow up in a hurry.

I work in that area and overnight we have only 2 police units covering about 8 suburbs. No wonder things like this happen and offenders don't get apprehended.

Few weeks ago it was fire bombs onto freeway and now large rocks. Won't be long until someone is killed by this dangerous stupid behaviour.

so which 6 suburbs should we hit up for un patrolled practice :D

jks jks

all i can say is fkn idiots...how could people be so heartless, the guy is lucky to be alive...so close to death just because of a few bored people...if your bored just go to a boxing ring or somthing with a mate and punch eachother up. did they catch them yet?

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
