where is Elder Scrolls V already??

Elder Scrolls > Fallout

not sure I agree with the > sentiment but they are both epic games. I hear that there might be a Elder Scrolls MMO coming out sometime in the next 12-18 months but they might just be rumours. I dont understand why Elder Scrolls V isnt out yet considering Oblivion was such a massive commercial success selling over 5 million copies on the PS3 and 360 alone. I have probably spent thousands of hours doing every little quest collecting every awesome piece of armour or weapons multiple times. Its even my gf's 2nd favourite game after the Sims so we had to get a copy of it for the 360 too so she could play it on the 360 and I could play it on the PC :D

not trolling, I was seriously unimpressed by the game... The storyline was f**king shit, the ending sucked dogs balls especially... They actually FORCE you to go into the stupid chamber full of radiation and die... completely ignoring the facts that you've been fighting radiation the whole game, have radiation suits, rad-aways and a new friend who is completely immune to radiation. You even get to ask him and he's all like 'This is your destiny, I can not interfere...'

I stood there for like 5 minutes... they're all just staring at me, forcing me to committ suicide. It was a seriously depressing thing to have to go through.

This is after you spent ages fighting a government branch who ALSO WANTED TO TURN THE DAMN THING ON! Why the f**k were we fighting? Why not just let them do it?

Stupid f**king game.

Someone never got the DLC

Already pre-orderd the collectors special uber edition of radioactive glory because I'm a sucker.

So did anyone buy this? I've only played it for a couple of hours but it seems almost the same as Fallout 3 with some differences. Will have to keep playing.

Played about 10hrs so far, pretty much same as Fallout 3, just a different setting. So far it's less buggy than F3, but that's not saying much. Still enjoying it, but kinda dissapointed there are so few changes.

Yeah i got it. Basically the same but that's ok.. there are different things to do and i loved f3 so i'm happy.. There is an (almost) guarenteed way to win caravan though.. So bottlecaps arent much of an issue LOL

I have been buying every playing card ever but I haven't played a single game of caravan, not that I need any money. The vendors run out of cash before I do. Not that far into it really. Huge emphasis on staying on the road at least early on which had me running around whatsits field early on then seeing the dude on the road on the way. FFFFFFFUUUUUUU

As usual some of the text in it is great. I suggest you read the employee notice on the computer in the HeliosOne building on the second floor. Good times.

The CE is pretty cool, poker chips and playing cards and the like.

Ohh it's harder?! Well that changes a lot. That was the main thing that pissed me off in Fallout 3. Way to easy and I hit max level cap way before I finished it and I was basically just following the story line.

FO3 has lots of content unless you just follow the main storyline.. it was easy.. especially once you have the Point Lookout expansion and make that your first mission.. get gingwei's sword and the armour.. rest of the game is simple LOL.. Also the expansion packs extended the game after the end..

New Vegas is harder yes.. The Giant Radscorpion's are a bitch.. Havent met a deathclaw yet LOL.. Main storyline is supposed to ake 20hrs to complete..

Only issue is you can win caravan 99% of the time if you understand the rules.. So caps are never an issue, you can buy a persons stuff.. play caravan with them and get your caps back LOL..

lol harder, maybe if pathing wasn't retarded still. Incinerate the Deathclaws from the quarry wall. What's that Nightkin? can't knock over a chair? lulz pewpew.

I like that Veronica can punch off heads (unarmed skill 103 base) which will be handy in Casinos (no weapons allowed) but I also like that Boone is the ultimate walking to new place no wasted ammo guy. I think multi-companion mod is in order.

lol if not using exploits deathclaws and the nightkin near new vegas pwn my level 14 character with bullet weapons, or even the experimental plasma rifle I got from REPCONN.

buggy as shit, but possibly one of the most detailed games I've ever played. Couldn't get over the amount of quests, characters and unique landscape in New Vegas itself (finally got there after nearly 20 hours lol)

i did give up on the camp searchlight / finding irradiated dog tags quest though, i must have searched through the whole fkn town at least 5 times.

You can pick one of the three, do it yourself, let the girl do it or do it yourself, either way the game ends there, but if you get the DLC it starts up again and theres loads to do, i havent done EVERYTHING till this day even after playing it for over 100 hours

i lost all respect for the fallout series after 3, 3 was ok, but the ending was shitfull, once the game ends thats it... the story was short also.

Again, get the DLC :P

lol if you see a deathclaw before it see's you, SAVE, it took me about 8 attempts to get to a certain place past 3 deathclaws, one can kill you with about 5 or 6 strikes, im on level 12 atm

hmm, i might have to try this game one day,

Definately worth it, the hardcore mode makes it more difficult/interesting, finding water is a bitch lol and of course the stimpacks not being instant makes it a whole different ball park

    • Let's be honest, most of the people designing parts like the above, aren't engineers. Sometimes they come from disciplines that gives them more qualitative feel for design than quantitive, however, plenty of them have just picked up a license to Fusion and started making things. And that's the honest part about the majority of these guys making parts like that, they don't have huge R&D teams and heaps of time or experience working out the numbers on it. Shit, most smaller teams that do have real engineers still roll with "yeah, it should be okay, and does the job, let's make them and just see"...   The smaller guys like KiwiCNC, aren't the likes of Bosch etc with proper engineering procedures, and oversights, and sign off. As such, it's why they can produce a product to market a lot quicker, but it always comes back to, question it all.   I'm still not a fan of that bolt on piece. Why not just machine it all in one go? With the right design it's possible. The only reason I can see is if they want different heights/length for the tie rod to bolt to. And if they have the cncs themselves, they can easily offer that exact feature, and just machine it all in one go.
    • The roof is wrapped
    • This is how I last did this when I had a master cylinder fail and introduce air. Bleed before first stage, go oh shit through first stage, bleed at end of first stage, go oh shit through second stage, bleed at end of second stage, go oh shit through third stage, bleed at end of third stage, go oh shit through fourth stage, bleed at lunch, go oh shit through fifth stage, bleed at end of fifth stage, go oh shit through sixth stage....you get the idea. It did come good in the end. My Topdon scan tool can bleed the HY51 and V37, but it doesn't have a consult connector and I don't have an R34 to check that on. I think finding a tool in an Australian workshop other than Nissan that can bleed an R34 will be like rocking horse poo. No way will a generic ODB tool do it.
    • Hmm. Perhaps not the same engineers. The OE Nissan engineers did not forsee a future with spacers pushing the tie rod force application further away from the steering arm and creating that torque. The failures are happening since the advent of those things, and some 30 years after they designed the uprights. So latent casting deficiencies, 30+ yrs of wear and tear, + unexpected usage could quite easily = unforeseen failure. Meanwhile, the engineers who are designing the billet CNC or fabricated uprights are also designing, for the same parts makers, the correction tie rod ends. And they are designing and building these with motorsport (or, at the very least, the meth addled antics of drifters) in mind. So I would hope (in fact, I would expect) that their design work included the offset of that steering force. Doesn't mean that it is not totally valid to ask the question of them, before committing $$.
    • The downside of this is when you try to track the car, as soon as you hit ABS you get introduced to a unbled system. I want to avoid this. I do not want to bleed/flush/jack up the car twice just to bleed the f**kin car.
