hey guys i know this would have been covered, so if you could just point me in the right direction, thatd be great.

I have a r34 gtt which id like to get to 450-500hp at the wheels.

Is there a forum which will give me all the info i need and what should be done to the car to safely run these levels.

Thanks guys.

450 or 500?

450 @ the treads could be easily achieved with a garrett 3076, fuel pump, 700cc injectors, Z32 afm, FMIC, ECU and e85 on stock internals

500.... you'd probably wanna be building

well if 450 would be insanely cheaper id go for that,

So its mainly the fuel system/part that needs to be built to support this kind of upgrade??

Fuel rail i have heard of, not exactly sure what it is tho.

About 20-30 thousand dollars.

holy "curses repeatedly"!!

So a bigger turbo, rated at 500hp, 700cc injectors, suitable fuel pump, remapped ecu or a brand new one??

Not sure what the e85 or z32afm are??

FMIC is currently the blitz se kit, tube and fin, 620x266x76.

Clutch being the Exedy single plate heavy duty. NSK 7333HD with the standard flywheel. Would the stock flywheel be ok with this or need to be changed??

I would imagine the clutch and fmic are going to cope ok with this??

Thanks again.

You'll need a 600-700hp turbo, they are not rated @ the wheels.

500rwhp = 370rwkw.

That is GT35 territory which is a 650-700hp item.

370rwkw = built motor territory as well, and hence you are talking around 20k in total costing

I think im chasing more 400-450 at the wheels. ive been reading around a little.

500 at the wheels is a costly excercise.

I'm running an hks 2835 pro s which is a modified 3071

car makes 285rwkw on bp ultimate and 325rwkw on powerplus e85

that's 381 and 435 hp respectively

the car has been making this power on stock internals for 2 years now and sees a lot of limiter time

a 3076 will just nudge over my power levels by a few kw.

A z32 afm is an airflow metre from a z32 and will be required to support that kinda airflow

your clutch will hold, but as a single HD won't last forever

Fmic will be fine

as for the stock internals, of course it is a gamble and it could go pop.... But that is life and it's just a gamble you take

cheaper to sell your R34 as is

and buy one thats already got the power and expensive stuff done

there is an ER34 with a 3 litre big sinle on carsales.com.au in melbourne for sale

its got around 400rwkw with all the expensive stuff done

will be far cheaper than you buying all the parts and having someone do it

Point taken but i think im keen to build this 1 up, as i know it hasnt been thrashed and hasnt got many mods at the moment, and what has been done, ive done myself.

This way i know what my car has got and has been done to it etc.

couldn't agree more! and a much quicker way of doing it, instead of having your car off the road all the time to have work done to it...

    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
