Hi,

i'm new here and just gonna start by hitting you guys with some questions

If i get a R34 (thats right, i dont have one yet :D ) i want to mod it to look like a nismo z-tune...but i cant find the complete z-tune bodykit anywhere in australia....at least not with the wide part infront of the door. Closest is malaysia..

Do any of you guys know where to get it? Or can i just buy it in malaysia and get it fitted at some custom shop here?

cheers.

hay buddy

how much do u wanna spend?

i just bought half the z-tune body kit in carbon fibre (thats right mutha f@cka carbon)

this include

- front guards z tune style with the little bit that comes up as well

- side skirts

- rear pods

i didnt buy the front bar coz i have something better (also in carbon fibre)

its not genuine but it will do lol as u will not find a genuine kit anywhere around here bro

this is the one i found in malaysia...they ship overseas and the z-tune kit supposedly fits the r34 GTT..

http://monstermodz.net/msia/?p=37

its 3000 USD lol. but ill guess ill take that price for those awesome looks...how much are the matching nismo rims?lol

in a manly size eg 18x10.5 +15 (or something) they would be around 5000 + tyres.

then factor in the fact thay they will never fill the guards in a r34 gt (not even a gtt) unless u roll/lip/flare the f**k out of ur guards.

then paint them - so u might as well paint the whole car so ur looking another 3000+

so ur looking at a really expensive kit and rims + body work which all adds up to way more than a gt r34 is worth.

mu secret sell the z tune kit for around that sort of price but it is all carbon fibre. (like the real z tunes)

i have the kit on the way myself except the front bar.

cost me alot

z tune front guards in carbon - $1200 ish

z tune side skirts in carbon were - $650 ish

z tune rear pods in carbon - $350 ish

i used a different front bumper in carbon which was $1000

plus the bonnet (also not z tune style) which was around $1000 as well

delivery was another 1500 as well

then add little thinks like canards, and a splitter and fitting and ur looking at a f**k load of cash mate.

its honestly not worth it for a gt (not even a street car really)

do this in order

1- learn how to drive

2- get ur licence

3- get a shitbox to learn how to be a responsible adult

4- then waste our time about what car u should get

5 - get off ur p's

6- then get a skyline gtt and be a sick kunt

until then enjoy the rest of the school holidays

Hi Seb

If your going to get a R34 GT, I'd say keep it relatively stock, have some fun with it, do some light mods and get off your P's. If your still keen then get a R34 GT-T or an R34 GT-R if you can afford it.

Unless you have friends in the industry getting a kit put on and looking good won't be cheap. If you want a Z Tune kit I presume you would also need to get the rear guards pumped as well. Welcome to the forums and have fun.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
