my cover is off as it does not fit with the plenum spacer fitted.

I think it is better with the cover off as that plenum gets sooo hot that I figure any extra air you can get to it to keep it cool is good.

Looks nice...

Cheers

Oh sweet thanks for the info on the optioned parts.

dimi, the wheels are of a v35. i didnt like them at first but they do suit it sooo well for stock looking rims!... i reckon they need to come out about 10-15mm more! and it should sit awesome...

atm the coilovers are set all the way to raised! so ive got about 20mm to drop them. it should sit reallllly good when i drop it, but ill drop it after compliance!

the car sits stupidly low, in terms of everything underneath isnt far from the ground! so i was originally planning on putting 19's on the car but looks like il have to go bigger just to keep the car sitting higher! maybe even 21inch! ( lol id never thought id say i want 21's on my car ever!)

Jetwreck- No i havent, where would the ecu be? im full noob with stageas.

The ECU is located under the dash on the passengers side of the car....just pull the black under-tray off and stick you header under there if you see something that looks like the picture below with the Nismo sticker on it....let me know so I can come and replace it with a standard one for you!

there ya go dimi

i spent all morning cleaning underneath the car... it almost looks brand new lol. i wish i took photos. maybe when were at compliance if they put it on the hoist. cbfed jacking it up!

cant wait to get it back from compliance and actually drive it! oh and adjust the coilovers to all the way low lol!!!

Jet im going to run outside now and have a look at the computer

OMG OMG OMG OMG

..................

DONT have a nismo ecu  hahahah

probably did have one....the owner in Japan more than likely put the standard ECU and sold yours....probably the one I bought of IM recently!

lol......only kidding!

Nice car btw!

Wait till you drive it! It's quicker than a cruiser and quite surprising so the bug will bite. Let me know when you're manufacturing a dump pipe as I would like to buy one.

My cover is off as well... except mine is off by choice (or lazyness) as the PM35 bonnet is quite a bit higher in the middle than the normal early model bonnet (should've gone with a 35mm runner spacer perhaps? :D).

+1 to the rest (see, I told you - lazy)

Love the remote start/stop btw :D

rich, i have a bug, but its a v.i.p bug. im going to be turning the car in to as best i can, a very good example of a v.i.p car. i will keep you in the loop about the dump pipes. what size? 2.5? 3?

ill be going a bit of a different way around it than usual. the only bolts that will be on the exhaust will be where it bolts to the turbo...

ill pm you :D

Let me know if you can make me a dump pimp also. I am looking to get my exhaust done. :D

I recon you might change your mind about the bolts once you try to remove the Dump pipe...... LOL

Possibly referring to a V-band clamp arrangement for flange jointing; quick, neat, no leaks, and good for fine tuning fitment of pipework.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
