Hey guys

Just received news that my friend's silver 1996 Mazda RX-7 FD3S twin turbo has been stolen. It was parked at his house in Sunshine with a full tank of gas. Car has been stolen for a couple of hours now and could be anywhere. If anyone has seen this car or knows anything about it PLEASE contact me on 0432 454 695 or call the police. Any help it greatly appreciated. Please note this is not an insurance job as there only 3rd party on the car. Details are in the link below. PLEASE NOTE car is no longer on Work Meisters but are on standard 5-spoke rims sprayed black.

Sorry to hear about your friend's car. I'm sure it'll turn up, I know that'd turn my head if I saw it....especially in Sunshine. Someone will know where it is.

If it has an E-Tag in it or a built in GPS they might be able to use that.

Hope it turns up soon.

Just got back from my friend's place. Guy is shattered, it was hard enough for him to post the car up for sale, but to part with the car like this just sucks; and is willing to reward $1000 for any information or sighting of the car that leads to the recovery of the car. Please keep an eye out for parts for sale as I believe the car has been stolen solely for parts. Many of these parts are not so common. Any help is greatly appreciated. Real shame when others just can't simply appreciate the work and effort others has put into their cars and go running away with someone's pride and joy.

ahh shit Tony's? i saw him at the gym during the week. So farked my old white R33 that i sold to my cousin got stolen in footscray not too long ago as well. I'll keep an eye out too man. Think we all need to get them GPS monitoring alarms or something :S

Spotted a silver RX-7 south east Melbourne in Keysborough near Parkmore just before (~6:50pm) doubt it's the same one but had black rims. Exhaust wasn't that loud, well at least not loud enough to hear over mine. Heading south towards Greens Rd or Dandenong Bypass.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
