Gt-r / Gts-t 5th Gear Strength, Anyone Broken One?

I'm taking my car in a top speed event (not that it's geared for it) but anyway, I just thought I'd ask anyone if they've busted 5th under power.

My car makes 650hp at the wheel, I'm not going to slam 5th but still....

Anyone?

Never heard of anyone breaking 5th. All the cool kids break 3rd and 4th so 5th doesn't get a chance

Hahaha I don't know if I'm allowed to say comment until the release date? Either way it was lots of fun, had a ball. 148.98mph on one of the runs through the traps in the 1/4 Can't wait to head to WSID again.

nowhere near the top of 5th on a rural airport unless it was made to land A380s.

they are crappy, rocky, diesel covered places where you will get wheelspin up to 4th or higher in any high powered car

Yep Duncan, you're right, wheelspin in 4th, didn't end up trying but probably could have come close to topping 5th although the brakes would have got a good workout.
