Hey guys,

Up for sale is my pride and joy, my r34 gtt. I'm actually really sad to be selling it, but I'm renting a new place and work is inconsistent due to university loading so I need the cash.

The car has covered 135000km, I bought it at 109000km and it has done mostly highway driving between Newcastle and Sydney to see family and friends. It has never had any accident damage and the paint and interior are still in good nic. Car has a happy home in a garage.

Car has factory xenons, fog lights and strut brace.

Wheels are tasteful 18" rims with 265's on the 10" rear and 235's on the 9" front.

The car is relatively stock, mods include:

Yellow jacket coilpacks (4 weeks old)

Exedy heavy duty clutch for an r33 gtr, standard r34 upgrade (3 weeks old)

Alpine head unit ($400 new)

Mongoose M80G alarm

3" catback exhaust with a 4.5" tip

Boost selector, 7 or 13psi

Drive shaft has been replaced with new uni joints

Others info:

Battery is new (3 months)

Tyres are 90%

Rego has 12 months left

Gearbox oil is new (2 weeks)

Diff oil is new (2 weeks)

Coolant is fairly new (2 months old)

All fluids have recently been tested by a mechanic to determine whether they need changing, all passed with flying colours

Oil and spark plugs have been changed every 5000km. Oils used varied between motul 8100 xcess (grade IV synthetic) and sougi s6000 (grade V synthetic, equivalent to motul 300v).

I have a new fuel filter, several bottles of sougi s600 10w40 fully synthetic double-ester oil (excellent oil), a bottle of castrol vmx-m and penrite limslip 90, each with a small tube of nulon g90 additive, ready for the next gearbox and diff oil change. All of this will be included.

I'm asking for $16000 rather than $17000 because the car needs a wheel bearing replaced (right rear). Should be round $500 to do. I'd rather sell the car before hand though.

Comes with original JDM flare!!! Lol.

I am open to reasonable offers, please don't bother with low balling. Also please genuine interest only, I can't have some joyrider crash the car without the money to buy it from me.

Please PM me, email me at [email protected], or call on 0422 215 127 in you're interested.

Thanks,

Ben

PS: More pics to come when I give it a bath this week...

PPS: I'm in Sydney till tomorrow morning and every 2-3 weekends if that helps. I am willing to drive a small distance for a serious inspection too.

Ahh yeah, thanks for reminding me.

The full 100000km service was done (timing belt, crank seals, bearings, tensioners, water pump, AC belt, power steering belt, water pump/alternator belt, cam seals are fine too). This was all done at 98000km.

Had a freak out when I couldn't find the sticker but a mate pointed it out for me lol.

I'm really going to miss this car. It's running so happily with the new clutch and coilpacks.

I just can't justify having a car worth this much while struggling to pay rent and while work is a bit unstable...

Also:

The car has a GReddy turbo timer

The spacers the car had when I bought it are included

The alarm has a 3 point immobiliser (part of the Mongoose M80G)

Stock mats still in the car, they look great

Spare tyre and jack are included

Wheels have locking nuts

I can include the original coilpacks if you want, it is likely only one would have failed

Flywheel was machined with the clutch change

Brakes still work brilliantly

Stock ABS and airbags

Speakers still have plenty of punch

Skyline symbol/sign on the front

Amp was installed by previous owner, not currently in use

The paint and interior are great, a very nice car to own and love. It has always been run on 98 octane fuel.

Willing to trade for either something interesting or a good daily with cash my way.

This car is a blank slate for mods, nice place to start if you want. Or, this car is a fantastic daily, it's been mine for quite some time. The climate control is a dream and the ride is fantastic, especially for an 11 year old car. I will certainly buy another one of these when I have the money.

Cheers,

Ben

nice car mate .. just a tip (and you obviously might disagree) - paint the wheels black. Black wheels on a stock white R34 looks insanely good.

I saw one done with a spray can on stock R34 wheels (white 34) and it's just OHMAHGAWD. It transforms the car. White wheels on white car just don't work IMO. So yeah, this is like a $100 mod you could do and I'm sure it would give it a far wider appeal and get more people interested when they see photos.

Cheers mate, it's something I've been debating doing for a long time, figured I'll let the next owner decide. It costs $300 to have 4 wheels professionally cleaned and painted, not much in the scheme of things...

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
