Nick is confirming location yeah?

Time wise, 3 or 4 suit people? gives us a bit of light. Are we shooting one or 2 cars?

Sidd, give us an update with as much details as you've got. maybe we'll be able to fill in the blanks as a team

Ok so 14th nov (sunday) is the shoot. There will be two models. Thats all I know lol. I need to tell the model the location and time. So someone please tell me

I dont want to be driving around for an hour on the day trying to find spots.

Car wise you guys decide. I think 2 cars will be more than enough.

Just had a look on Maps at homebush to try and pick a spot to meet and shoot. It just highlighted how little I know the area

Nick, have you had a look yet? Botanical gardens might be a good place to start, pending vehicle access.

Hey guys I'll most probly come down with my r33 GTS-T.

I'm new to the forum so might be a good chance to meet other skyline owners.

You can see a pic of my car as my display picture, so let me know if it's aiite for the shoot

OK, Matt and I just went for a quick look around Homebush and out the back of Rose Hill/Camelia. We found a few spots that might work for both the cars and the models, but it will depend on access available for the cars (I'll make some calls tomorrow). Moving the models around shouldn't be too much of an issue, and it will depend more on how their chosen outfits suit the locations.

I'll post some quick photos shortly.

You don't really need pics. We just found a few locations that might be fun for the the model(s), and a car or two.

Meeting point = Novatel Homebusy bay, which is across the road from the Olypmic Park Train station.

Meeting time = 3.30 Sharp. We'll head to the first location at 4. (or earlier if every one is ready)

there's plenty of parking near by.

Sidd, what are the girls going to be wearing? like what style of clothing did you mention?

Car wise, Sean has his white 34 gtr v-spec coming. Sidd, you're always banging on about getting some good shots of your ride. Clean it, that's our new 2nd car for the day :P

Matt - DONE AND DONE!!! Will pass one those details to the models. They will be wearing knee height dress. I just told them to wear something elegant and sexy!! hahha.. Eitherway it will be a great learning experience for everyone. If we have a successful shoot then we can start doing lots of other creative shoots etc.

No problems will clean my car inside and out ;) Looking forward to sunday!!!

So whos coming??

KORY - dont be soft!! I will give you 10 bucks in petrol money. lol

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
