OCTANE BOOSTER ILLEGAL

Was wathcing the news two nights ago and they had a story on high ron fuels and said they were moving to outlaw them as well as octane boosters and both will not be available after the end of the year. Apparently the "Environmental Protection Agency" has performed tests and found that they contain substance that is TOO harmfull for us.

This sucks, but what is worse is the fact that they are also banning c16 and c21 and VP race fuels as well unless you have a special CAMS/ANDRA Permit that states that you will use it only on the track and not even for tuning at a wrkshop.

Not happy.

How come BP ultimate has an Environmently Friendly Sticker around the pump ? f**king politicians, i'm getting sick of this shit, octane booster and race fuel, fair enough, but if they're gunna make us 90 odd+ c's a litre for petrol it better be good for my damn car.

Why is it that planes can use high RON fuels ... planes can be a hellava lot louader than 90 dB ... but nooo, not cars .... it's descrimination I tell you !! :x

Guy's they are talking about banning Racing fuels and Octate Boosters on the Street. Racing fuels are banned as it is,,,but not Additives,,,Thats the One they want Dead. Octane boosters,,,,you can always get around that,,,just use Tolenne,,,,,4 to 1 from memory.

Hasn't much to do with us really,,,unless YOU are not running an 02 sensor.
