Genuine R34 Gtr V-spec 2 Aluminium Pedal Group Buy!

Recommended Posts

That's what I kept saying to him. I told him there was no way in hell it is still in transit and therefore he lied to me about it getting sent.

F*ck you lol.

I sent a long email to Adam regarding these pedals taking far to long and I am not simply going to wait for them to rock up if I don't even have any proof that they sent them.

The footrest was $80.84 when I priced them all up at Nissan.

Awesome! That means I could get the full set for about $150 and it didn't take 6 months (lol sorry) xD

Anyway, they are awesome pedals though, I can feel the difference with the new accelerator pedal, hope you'll all get em in the end :)

Oh and a quick tip for people that are going to install it onto their R34, the bottom plastic bracket thingy on the accelerator pedal isn't need, or else you won't be able to clip the pedal on at the top (hope it makes sense lol)

That fcukinky guy is loaded, he's got heaps of dough to splash around xD

And Phil, those pedals definitely makes the car go quicker, compare to the factory plastic, you are looking at saving 100g in weight and because it's from a V-spec II, that's an automatic extra 1.5kw at the wheels!

Hah I wish I was loaded.. Charles listen to u lol

and

I can not wait for my 100g savings, car will fly now lol

At least with this group buy we kind of know whats happening hahaha

Don't drop by maccas before a cruise and you'll save more than 100g

Well....Having those pedals means you can enjoy that extra bite of your big mac before a cruise, how is that not a win win situation? lol

Adam

I need you to let me know by Friday this week exactly where my order is other wise I will need a full refund into my account.

The pedals obviously didn't get sent from you or Japan when you told me otherwise they would have been here by now.

I deal with overseas suppliers on a regular basis and I have never had to wait 6 months for an order, regardless of delays or holidays.

Put yourself in my position for a moment and think how you would feel.

I believe I have been more than patient but this is getting ridiculous and my patience is running out.

Phil

I will email japan now to see what's up

I know the ones on our end were sent if I cannot get info from USPS I can send another set and file a claim with them

Adam

Z1 Performance

That's from last night.

Thanx for that..

nice that he is willing to send another set if they have been lost in transit...

I know they will be worth the wait.

I would love the foot rest from your set lol

I'm even considering to buy the set and keep the foot rest and sell the rest :D

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
    • Yeah, I guess its pretty easy to get to if this doesn't work. Just wait till next oil change and pull it out. I am going to have to do the oil pan gasket soon and thought I'd just replace it while I was there.  Thanks
    • All that matters is you're safe and you were able to type that post. Hopefully heaps of parts you can recover for the next shell.
